Our stay at this hotel in Bad Gastein was truly unforgettable. From the very first moment, we felt genuinely welcome — and that is largely thanks to the owner, Christof. He is exceptionally friendly, attentive, and approachable, always wearing a sincere smile and bringing a wonderful sense of humor. You can clearly see that he runs his hotel with heart and soul.
His wife also deserves the highest praise. She is an outstanding cook. Both breakfast and dinner were consistently of exceptional quality, served in a warm and cozy atmosphere. Every meal was something to look forward to.
At the bar, we were always warmly welcomed by Eric, who performs his job with great enthusiasm and flair. He is not only an excellent barman but also a very pleasant conversational partner who truly adds to the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere of the hotel.
During breakfast and dinner, Saskia and Django took care of the service in a consistently hospitable and easygoing manner. Every single day, we felt sincerely welcome — nothing was ever too much to ask.
The hotel itself is a true gem. The interior is incomparable to other hotels and gives the entire place a unique, almost timeless dimension. Staying here feels like stepping into a world without worries. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was impeccable, thanks to the dedicated staff and their remarkable attention to detail.
The location completes the picture: the breathtaking view over Bad Gastein invites you to dream away and creates that genuine holiday feeling.
Our next vacation here is already booked — which really says it all.

Royal class hospitality and service at a wonderful location in Bad Gastein. Christof and Johanna are excellent hosts, and together with there nice & friendly team they make you feel at home from the first entry at their very nice traditional restored, refurbished and decorated hotel. Very richfull & tasty breakfast and diner all served at the table on classic silverware. Cozy hotelbar in family atmosphere. Own shuttleservice to and from the central ski station in Bad Gastein makes your holiday even more perfect for skilovers.
