What an amazing stay here from the minute we arrived. Sylvana, our host could not do enough for us, she was the best host we have ever experienced and nothing was too much trouble.
The room was very comfortable and clean, the location was perfect, quiet yet only a three minute walk to the ski bus and five minutes into town.
Breakfast was simple but with high quality ingredients; I would hesitate in staying here again.

Best Host I Have Ever Experienced

Sylvana’s is a beautiful hotel that is immaculate in every way. It’s in a fabulous location for the ski bus, station & Mayrhofen.
Our room was very large, fabulously furnished, had great views from the balcony was extremely comfortable with everything we could have wanted.
Breakfasts are fantastic with fresh eggs, all types of delicious bread, cereals, yoghurts, cheeses & meats as well as fresh juices & a great choice of teas & coffees.
Sylvana is the most hospitable host you could wish for, she has great local knowledge, is always happy to help & nothing is too much trouble & we would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel.

My husband stayed here last week with his friend and this is his review...

The positives:-
+ Mayrhofen with the Zillertal Superski pass is a great area for adventurous skiers who want to ski lots of new areas and cover the miles in different valleys and mountains. It is really beautiful and varied.
+ The venue owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. A real big character.
+ The rooms are a good size. What you would expect for a ski resort, but no luxury.
+ It's just a bed and breakfast set up with dinner on our package being served at the Berghof Hotel a short walk down the road and it was very good.
+ The QR code provided in advance is really handy for checking yourself in before you've arrived.

The negatives:-
- Breakfast was a little disappointing. Yes the usual meat and cheese, and bread and jam but other than that just scrambled egg sat in a big terrine or a boiled egg.  A bit repetitive and limiting.  There was some yogurt but only pale tinned fruit to go with it, no fresh fruit. To be honest I felt it was done on the cheap.  To me breakfast when skiing is the most important meal of the day to set you up.
- Curtains in bedroom do not fit the window so you are woken up very early with light streaming through.
- Like other reviews, the pillows are awful and need replacing.
-  Lastly the logistics; the hotel really is on the edge of Mayrhofen, albeit the town is small so it is not miles. Wherever you stay in Mayrhofen you will have to walk or take the bus somewhere. The lifts are at the top of the town but the train and bus station is at the bottom of the town. We did a lot of walking in ski boots and that was a pain. 

Overall, I'm glad I was recommended this hotel by our Ski Travel Agent and it was great value for the money we paid. Thank you for your hospitality Sylvana!

A great recommendation needs some improvements

We had an amazing week staying at Sylvanas who was such a fantastic host from start to end. The rooms are so unique, warm and loads of space for all belongings. The breakfasts were a great way to start a day skiing and it was a quiet area of the Mayrhofen. The wellness area and finnish saunas, cold shower option boosted recovery helping to continue skiing everyday.
