Agriturismo Il Casale Del Lago

We stayed here for two nights as part of a tour of Italy, this small family run hotel has magnificent views out across Lake Garda, the rooms have high ceilings but are quite small but comfortable and have character, the bathrooms are modern and very nice, the lady who runs the hotel was lovely. The hotel does have some apartments, making it suitable for families, but it also increases the noise for other guests. We had breakfast there, which was fine. The downside of this hotel is that it's some way out of the centre up long steep winding narrow roads. There is one restaurant within easy driving distance, but unfortunately, it was closed during our visit, which meant having to drive every evening to find a restaurant. The views were magnificent, but we would have prefered to be more central.

Great Views

This is an amazing and secluded property set up high on the hillside, with even more amazing views of Lake Garda from BOTH of our balconies, where we sat surrounded by olive trees. Quality and care are evident throughout, from the high quality linens, quilts, and furnishings, to the attractive, soothing decor with sweet little personal touches. Very comfortable mattress, even in the sofa bed. Super clean everywhere (they even mop the terrace!). The kitchenette housed inside a wardrobe/shrank was just adorable! The hostess is extremely kind and helpful, got us reservations at great Italian restaurant at the waters edge (to be completely honest, the restaurant is hard to find, set back, down a narrow alley from the boardwalk (use Google and zoom in), and only the outdoor tables have a [distant] water view). We took the optional breakfast at the Casale, which while not a huge variety, was again superb quality and plenty! Three different meats, a wonderful mild local cheese, assorted fresh croissants and rolls, jams (made by her), local honey, kids cereals, assorted fresh fruit, focaccia, olive oil (hers again), yogurt, and fresh fruit juices. I thought very reasonable at €9/p  She even set up linens and place settings on the terrace above so we could carry up our trays and enjoy it outside. Our stay there was just wonderful. We will definitely return.

A slice of heaven

Lovely, homely service at this fantastic hillside apartment. Stunning views over Lake Garda. A long/steep walk to the lakeside but easily accessed by car or taxi. Well placed for mountain hikes/biking.

Beautful location

We travelled during November 15th 2015.its a beautiful place, very well managed. Very comfortable for a family with a nice Kitchenette. Gilly is very helpful and always there to answer any questions with a smile. A very nice person. We loved the place definitely will go again!!! 

Superb, Excellent!!

A very relaxing and restful experience at this lovely location with Clean and Comfortable apartment with balcony. Wonderful breakfast with delightful views of Lake Garda. Lovely hostess and helpful at every moment. Just above the casino on the lake below where they provided a fireworks display at night, Thanks for a Great Vacation.
