It truly makes me happy to read that you and your daughter had such an enjoyable week skiing here in Seefeld in Tirol and that your experience exceeded your expectations. Creating memorable holidays – especially special trips like a skiing week with family – is exactly what we strive for.
I am especially pleased that you found our team friendly and helpful. You are absolutely right: we are proud to work with talented young hospitality interns, including some from the Netherlands, who gain valuable experience with us. Your kind words are wonderful encouragement for them and for all of us.
It is also great to hear that you were satisfied with your room and that it compared so favourably to previous self-catering ski holidays. I appreciate your honest comment regarding the room temperature at night. We are continually reviewing our heating systems to balance comfort and energy efficiency, and feedback like yours helps us improve.
I’m glad you enjoyed the swimming pool and our lounge area, even if the bar was quieter than expected. Your note about the beer tap is well taken – sometimes small details can influence the overall atmosphere, and we will certainly look into how we can enhance the après-ski experience.
Thank you as well for your positive remarks about our half-board offering. Our kitchen team works hard to provide daily variety with meat, fish, and vegetarian options, alongside a changing buffet. After seven days, a little familiarity is perhaps inevitable – but I appreciate your good humour about it!
Most of all, I am delighted that your experience did not reflect some of the critical reviews you had read beforehand and that you would happily recommend us and return in the future. That is the greatest compliment we can receive.

Spent a week at the hotel while skiing with my adult daughter. It exceeded our expectations. We found the staff very friendly and helpful (many were catering interns gaining work experience, some of them Dutch). Our room was fine, hugely better than anything we have ever had while skiing over the years in self-catering. It was too hot at night but opening the balcony door dealt with that even if it was hardly energy efficient. The swimming pool was fine, better than that of most hotels, and very popular with young families at the end of the afternoon. Location was good, near the railway station and the ski bus stop. Hotel has an attractive lounge/bar area that we found mostly empty and for some reason had no beer tap so we had to ask to get an apres-ski drink. We were booked for half board and ate at the hotel every evening - meat, fish and veggie main courses available and a good buffet with some changes made every day for variety. If it was a bit samey after seven days that is a very first world problem! I had read some critical and negative reviews here before travelling.  Our experience did not match these. Very happy to recommend the Vaya and would stay there again should we ever return to Seefeld.
