This is actually not a hotel but rather an set of appartements.
We had rented one of the bigger locations and where there with 2 families, 6 people overall (adults and young adults).

To start with: Sportappartements Sölle has a really great location at Sonnenalpe Nassfeld, just beside the lower stattion of "Madritschenbahn". The appartement was very nicely furnished in a complete and clean state. Our Appartement (#12) had a look directly onto Madritschenbahn, which became quite handy during our vacation.

As usual with appartements there was no food included but the kitchen was established with everything required (ok, maybe a microwave would have been nice to have as well) and a small food store (open all week) is just on the lower floor of the same building. We usually ordered what we wanted for breakfast the day before thus making the process in the morning more efficient.

For Skis and boots there was a locker available which turned out a bit small for 5 sets of skiing and 1 set of snowboarding equipment but it was "manageable".

The only negative thing possible to be said about the appartment itself was that there have been few technical glitches; most of the solved quickly after notifying the personnel; the only thing not corrected was a WLAN that was crappy most of the time - so better not rely on that if you go there (whereby crappy WLAN was common wherever we tried on Sonnenalpe :-)).

The other aspect of Sonnenalpe is that it is already quite high up the mountain - so the selection of the food store is limited (but they will bring what you ask for if you preorder) and there are not too many location you can go out for dinner without driving down into the valley.

What we discovered "by accident" was a nice "nassfeld night" show which happened to be performed just besides Madritschenbahn, so we were actually able to enjoy the performance from our warm and cozy appartement without having to step out into the cold.

Right next to a chair-lift and with modern 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, this hotel is a top choice for serious skiers who want to make the most of the track opening times (9am-4pm). There's a ski rental, ski school and a ski storage on-site with a mini market right outside the hotel.

Short distances - in the house itself to ski / bike rental and ski school, to useful things like supermarket or gastronomy, but also to fun and relaxation. You can always keep an eye on the kids from the terrace while romping around in the snow or at the playground. The house is right by the ski lift, at the cradle of Nassfeld. 15 spacious apartments for 4 to 6 people each guarantee the good feeling of being in the right place at the right time. Das Haus liegt direkt am Skilift, an der Wiege des Nassfeldes. 15 geräumige Apartments für jeweils 4 bis 6 Personen garantieren das gute Gefühl, zur richtigen Zeit am richtigen Ort zu sein.
