We wished we had stayed longer (we only stayed for 2 nights, but there is lots to do in the area).    We took a 2 bed roomed (both ensuite) apartment in the charming Appartements Strobl and couldn't have been more comfortable.  It was very well equipped, so we ate in one night.  The hosts are delightful - full of helpful advice and they deliver fresh rolls to your apartment each morning.   The house is brillantly located with lots of good walks (and cable cars if you don't want to flog up hills) plus a swimming lake close by.

A perfect base for an energetic summer holiday

Lovely apartment, perfectly placed for exploring the area, it is definitely not just a winter location.  Really quiet and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful.  Can easily walk to the local cable car and train station and buses, or great location if you have a car.  A few local restaurants in town which were all lovely or you can use the facilities to cook for yourself. Will miss not waking up to the amazing views and having a fresh roll delivery in the morning.

Lovely location, very welcoming

We had a great time here. Lots of really useful info was given to us when we arrived, room was lovely and warm when we got there. SkiWelt is very close by, we walked each day which only took 10 mins but there is also a free bus. Breakfast was delicious and Angela and Lisa were very lovely, friendly and helpful.
