26/06-2019: Our car broke down in the mountains, and we had to find a place to stay. We found this hotel nearby,  and I wish everyone that looks for a hotel near by - to give it a try. 

The to co workers / owners also transported us in a private vehicle to the car service shop, and back. 

This can only be recommended!

I have stayed in Heilgenblut on many occasions and in different hotels. I think Berghotel is the wrong name for this quaint hotel. The service is good although my room was not cleaned on the first day. I was traveling alone and for some reason I was given an upgrade and had an apartment with two rooms and a kitchen. The evening meal was of a high standard. They had two w fire connection and both did nor work properly through out my stay. All in all it was not a bad stay

Room is large, clean, warm . View is fabolus - take a Grossglockner view. Service is fine. Dinners are gourmet, private parking, free ski bus in front of hotel, heated ski depot, about 5 minutes do center. Very nice!

Our family of three adults stayed one night in a delightful roomy two bedroom apartment on the main floor.  Beautifully decorated with flair and well equiped with everything we could want.  Extensive tourist information and local orientation with brochures and a map was offered at chech-in.  Outstanding breakfast.  The innkeeper is the perfect hostess.

We stayed at the Berghotel Hois with 6 people in the top floor apartment. The apartment was large, clean, well appointed and decorated, and had everything needed. Our hosts were warm and friendly and operated their own in-house Restuarant which was a really positive surprise. The food and service were excellent. The hotel operators made that extra effort to ensure you enjoyed your stay. Highly recommended.

Berghotel Hois enjoys a peaceful location 150 metres from the valley station of the nearest cable car of the Grossglockner Ski Area and a 10-minute walk from the centre of Heiligenblut. It features a sauna and a landscaped garden with a sun terrace and wells. Free WiFi is available. The rooms with modern furnishings have a balcony overlooking the Grossglockner Mountain or the Molltal Valley. They feature a flat screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. Free private parking and free bicycle rental is possible on site. The hotel offers free shuttle service, while dry-cleaning and laundry services are provided for a surcharge. The free ski bus stops right in front of the hotel. Guests can attend wildlife sightings, waterfall hikes and gold panning at the Hohe Tauern National Park.
