We've had the worst customer experience and have never felt this disrespected by, what is supposed to be, a host ever before. I highly recommend giving your money to other accomodations who treat their customers like human beings instead of walking wallets.

Let's start with the fact that the cabin is nice. It was a shame that we had to vacuum the whole cabin upon arrival because of hairs everywhere. Keep in mind, even when paying the very expensive cleaning fee, you still have to do a lot yourself, like taking the trash out to a public trashbin (nothing is available at the property). We wanted to share this feedback directly, but keep reading to find out that feedback was obviously not welcome. 

For the ones interested: We've requested the bedlinen days in advance, but when we arrived, it wasn't there. We tried calling, messaging, and emailing for hours, but couldn't reach anyone. Luckily, by searching for someone in the rain after already 4 hours of stress, we found a very nice lady on the property who was able to help us (but didn't manage the place). The next day, the manager knocked on our door and put a cash machine in our face to pay for the bedlinen. At this point, we still assumed that he wasn't aware of any wrongdoing, as he probably didn't see our messages or calls. Therefore, we communicated all this via Google translate to him and after reading the first sentence he already stopped reading, waved his hand irritated and started mumbling something in the lines of that this is ridiculous and that we have to pay the bedlinen. 

The amount of disrespect was mindblowing to us, after us trying for hours to reach him, waiting in the cold for him, not knowing if we would be able to sleep there, he wouldn't even hear what we had to say. In the end, it was the nice lady who interfered and proposed to just leave the payment for the bedlinen (we had already paid for the cabin). We couldn't care less about the money, but just wanted to be heard after a very stressful day of what is supposed to be our holiday. 

I could go on, but let's wrap this up. To the nice lady, thank you, to the manager, be better, you can't ignore and dismiss paying customers that just try to communicate with you.

My wife rented a cabin from you for one night (Bitigrenda B, 30th to 31st May 2025)  for our family. She said our arrival would be quite late, around 9:00 PM.

When we arrived (around 9:30 PM) we found this (see picture).

I understood that work was ongoing, but we had clearly stated that we were going to rent a cabin, when, and you had accepted the booking and we had paid for it. Is it common for the entrance to be blocked by scaffolding? It looked like there were several people in the group who had ongoing work, but only our cabin looked like that.

I moved the scaffolding and workbench so that we could easily use the main entrance. Completely unacceptable that I should have to do that myself, in my opinion. 

In addition, the Kr.450,- cleaning fee after one night of being there is quite steep, not least since we were quite tidy ourselves.

Beitostolen is one of the most beautiful touristplaces both in summer and winter. Bitigrenda cabins are within walkingdistance to skilifts, tracks,activity center,shopping and restaurants (700 m). Nice and cosy, well equiped cabins with 6-24 beds.
