The staff and management team here were so accommodating during my stay .. the were easy to work with .. respectful and the overall experience during the stay was incredible.. I will be back here for sure and recommend this place to others

Great stay and experience

My sweet sweet husband booked us in at the blackcomb lodge for our anniversary. It was a surprise.
Usually I do the hotel bookings so it isn’t his usual fortè. I have stayed at the lodge before. It has a reputation for being the dump of Whistler but since it had been well over a decade since I had stayed I was hoping things had changed. Unfortunately they have only gone aggressively downhill. I have attached a few photos that only skim the surface of this dump but stay away. Unless you are in your 20’s and are looking to party stay far away. The cherry on top was no hot water in the morning for our showers. We were told at the front desk that the manager would contact us when they arrived. Here is what they sent me via txt. Not even a phone call. “Hi, We are very sorry to hear about your experience. We are unfortunately not able to give you a compensation for your stay but would love to offer you 20% off + a free upgrade to one of our limited addition rooms if you book direct with Blackcomb lodge.”
I wasn’t looking for a free ride. I was hoping at the very least they would comp our $35 parking fee for the evening. Absolutely horrid. I will be contacting someone at Coast Hotels since I guess that is who bought them out. Not only was the place incredibly dirty but the signs absolutely everywhere indicate that this is used as a party hotel on the regular. If you’re not a young adult looking to party hard I highly suggest avoiding this hotel like the plague. *now after seeing the first few comments on trip advisor I wish my husband would download the app so he could have seen these before booking at this dump. I guess I lucked out not receiving a txt telling me to F off lol

Great location in the heart of Whistler Village. It was the perfect location to relax and unwind for a long weekend before heading into a busy work season.

Relaxing Getaway

This parking area is reserved for hotel guests checking in and out of the hotel  and is not free for public use. We have installed 10 clearly visible signs indicating that parking must be purchased through the Honk Mobile app, which provides a convenient way to pay. By occupying these spaces without paying, you are taking spots meant for our guests and for individuals who have paid for parking, thereby causing them inconvenience. When the parking attendant approaches to inform you of this violation, arguing with them only creates unnecessary conflict. You are not guests of this hotel you are from America and your currency is worth more , the exchange is $1.42 here in Canada therefore you are not  entitled to free parking—there is no free parking in Whistler. When the parking attendent approached after you being parked for 20 minutes already you told him that you were looking for cheap parking  on your phone FYI our parking is only CAD6 per hour. This is private property designated solely for hotel guests, and no one is entitled to use it without payment, not even for a few minutes. That is precisely why the signage has been installed in the parking . Despite all of the above you have the audacity to leave a bad review for the hotel. Whistler is not for people who can not even afford to pay for parking as everything here is very expensive. Please bring your US Dollars  with you when you come to whistler next time.

Exceptionally rude and aggressive supervisor.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting the supervisor at the parking lot when trying to find parking at the whistler village as a tourist. Beware of this place, he hates Americans apparently? I was at an empty parking stall for less than 2 minutes checking rates of this garage and the neighbouring ones and the "supervisor" knocked on my window twice within 1 minute telling me that this place was the cheapest lot there is and if I don't move, I would be towed in 5 minutes so I can "fxxx" off and find another place and walk 20 minutes back.
On his second knock on my window, I told him I am moving and I closed the window on him and he tried to open my car door calling me a stupid American.
Thankfully our car was locked. We later found out he was the supervisor after trying to talk to the front desk. In the lobby, he told me l'm American and shouted at me to "fxxx off".
Terrible hospitality and crazy aggressive supervisor.

I came to Whistler to attend the Obstetrics and Gynecology conference, June 18th. I tried to find the entrance to the conference parking, I ended parking at the blackcomb parking until I find my directions. I found the conference site and I came back to move the car. I found the most insulting note on the car, using F words for using the parkade when u was lost trying to find my location. Most disappointing and inappropriate . This ruined all my family and group experience in Whistler .

Most insulting note left on my car. We will for sure rule out Whistler from our future conference options.
