Incredible food, great local knowledge, good humour from all the staff and a very comfortable, luxurious chalet with an uninterrupted view. Andy and Hannah are top people and amenable! I will definitely we staying again in the near future. Thanks Snowology + Sainte Foy.

Last minute booking on seeing the snow forecast.
Snowology was recommended to me by my wife, who had spent a girls only week in Sainte Foy a few years ago.
The transport was simple to arrange, Easy Jet to Geneva then Altibus  from the  airport to Bourg st Maurice were I was met by Andy from Snowology and transported to Sainte Foy. I understand that Snowology can help with these arrangements if necessary.
Chalet Sache Is not wheel chair accessible as it is down some steps from the road.
I was met by Nikki and Hanna who together with Andy helped to carry my luggage to  my room in the chalet. My room was on the top floor with a magnificent view down the valley It was warm and well presented with good storage large mirror and en-suite with shower complementary toiletries, robe and slippers.
The chalet itself was immaculately clean and well maintained without the hint of tiredness that is sometimes present within the fixtures and fittings of other accommodation I have stayed in.
Following the usual introductions etc I unpacked and settled in.
Canapes and champagne were served at 7pm, a chance for every one to meet and ask any questions before dinner.
Dinner was fantastic as were all subsequent meals I can't overstate how impressed I was at the quality of the food produced by Hanna. During each meal at the cheese course the host gave a brief talk about the particular cheese served. I found this to be interesting and a nice touch which added to the relationship that developed between the hosts and the guests.
The chalet has a "hot tub" on the balcony with views of the mountains and a sauna down stairs, both of which were welcome after a days skiing.
Andy, Hanna and Nikki are dedicated to making your stay perfect. Nothing is too much trouble and the whole experience is as if you are staying with good friends.
I can recommend ZigZags ski shop as being a very friendly and obliging establishment to get your skis serviced or to hire equipment.
I also recommend L'a Coeur as a venue to eat out on staff day off, although there can be a wait for your meal the quality and flavor is worth it. The red house wine which is served at a an appropriate temperature is most ecceptable and makes the wait a pleasure.
There was approximately 2 meters of snowfall during my visit this was slightly more than I was expecting but made for terrific skiing in some of the best snow conditions I have experienced but unfortunately only one sunny day. Still you cant have it all.
Just to summerise. I had a great week with terrific hosts in an exceptionally well run and looked after chalet.The food was of a quality I have only experienced in the past on 5 star cruise ships (thank you Hanna) Andy worked hard to make everything perfect for the guests and also kept the paths clear of snow (a never ending task during my stay) Nikki was an engaging and entertaining host with a special talent for making a successful fire each day.
All the hosts and guest played games each evening after dinner I personally found this to be a lot of fun everyone played with enthusiasm and good nature.
I unreservedly recommend Snowology and chalet Sache

The wonderful food so beautifully prepared and presented by Hanna.

This was my third time to Sainte Foy but as I was travelling on my own this time, I decided to book in to a catered chalet. I chose Snowology, which is run by Andy and Hannah who are very welcoming, friendly and accommodating to any needs that you may have.
I had an amazing stay for the New Year week, the food (prepared by Hannah) was very tasty and filling, you definitely won't go hungry!
The chalet is in a great location as you are very close to the nursery slopes, equipment shops and the ski lift.
I would definitely use Snowology again, thanks for an amazing time Andy and Hannah!

This was our second visit to St Foy but our first with Snowology. We travelled the week after half term with our 2 children clutching our highly prized letters of approval from our children's schools just in case Interpol were tipped off that our children were missing school.

The service that we received from Snowology was first class from start to finish.  Andy was very helpful throughout the booking process and in the lead up to the holiday. Queries were invaribly answered promptly and professionally.. You got the impression he really wanted his clients to enjoy themselves.

Chalet Seche was lovely, well maintained and spotlessly clean. Andy was there to greet us on arrival along with Hannah who was the other half of the team and a wonderful Chef. She had rung us a few days before we left to check on likes/ dislikes etc which was a nice touch. They made sure everything went smoothly in resort and we're always attentive without being overbearing.

Our daughter's birthday was on the day we arrived and I had asked Andy if they could mark this is a small way. As it turned out Andy and Hannah laid on a full party tea with balloons, party poppers a banner and a cake with candles.  They surpassed our expectations by some way but it was indicative of the thought they put in to ensure their clients enjoy their stay.  Other highlights were coffee in bed every morning, champagne and canapés on our first evening, Hannah's superb cooking and menu, andy's cheese talks and the daily soak in the hot tub.

St Foy was as we remembered it, a wonderful friendly small family resort with quiet pistes. The kids loved skiing with Snocool and Zig Zags were great to hire gear from and fixed my ancient boots (mine not theirs) for a nominal fee.

Snowology in the form of Andy and Hannah surpassed our expectations by some way and between them made this a very enjoyable and memorable holiday for all the right reasons.

You may find flashier companies and websites in St Foy but you won't find better hosts and value for money.

What a great week with the family and some special friends. The food was outstanding, the chalet was perfect for us and our hosts Hannah, Ian and Andy were just fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. If you are thinking of booking in Sainte Foy with Snowology then I would highly recommend them to anybody. 😀
