We checked in at 7pm. The porter had left at 5:30 pm. We were assigned to a 3 digit room number beginning with a 2. There were no elevators and we had to drag all our bags thru a tunnel system from the parking garage up 16 flights of stairs. There is no way a person with any mobility issues could have dragged their bags this far. When we asked for porter service for 7am the next morning we were told the porter does not come in until 9am.
Hidden fees included parking and a cash room tax per person.
There are other choices in Garmisch....I would not recommend this hotel.
