Fraser Crossing and Founders Pointe

Winter Park

Stayed here for 2 weeks in February 2026. #3522.
Checked in at Zephyr Mountain Lodge, and no one assisted in getting our luggage across the snow covered road, and paths to get to the condo.
The condo, didn’t seem to have been properly cleaned, with dust etc. having been brushed under the carpet.
We never once turned on the heating, yet when returning back to the condo after skiing, the room temperature was 77.6 F. Far too hot to sleep 😴. There is no air-con in the condo.
So every night windows were opened to lower the temperature, and these had to be shut, early morning due to local traffic and noise. 
The condo had a double wardrobe, and bedside drawers, so no real space to unpack ski, and other clothes.
The kitchenette cupboards had room for plates and utensils, but no where for food. However, the local market is very limited, so don’t expect to get fresh fruit, fresh meat or any range of things to eat.
The bed linen was blood stained, and bath split, and house keeping is NOT included for the duration of the stay, without additional charge.
Location is good, but not Mountain View - Good to have ski locker capability, but not all Condos have this.
I would not return here, as sleep was impossible - due to building core temperature being set too high, and no control of the air temperature. 
Some condos might be good, but this one was tired and need of update.

Tired Condo, in need of refurbishment and proper heating controls

Doesn’t say they don’t have AC in rooms until you get there. It is cool outside but even with windows open the room stayed in the 80s. The beds were AWFUL and need to be replaced. It is a condo and at least has a small stovetop and a couch. The parking was free in the summer which was appreciated.

No AC so you sleep hot in an old bed!

First the pluses. Close to the ski area. Approximately a 3-5 minute walk to the lifts. If you snag a discount on the condo units ( at least 30%) , it is more reasonable than resorts such as Vail or Snowmass. Mary Jane ski area is very good and merits at least a day trip. Now for the demerits. The management takes almost no responsibility for the morass that is the attached and only parking. Entering or leaving the garage is a time consuming nightmare. The property is dirty and except for the ski lockers on the ground floor, there is no place to change your clothes if you wish to continue to ski after the 10am checkout. The  condo unit has almost no storage for ski clothes. Best to live out of your suitcase or better yet, stop off to ski Mary Jane and go to the other ski resorts nearby.

Not worth the visit

Just got home from a stay at Founders Pointe in Winter Park.  Booked through Winter Park Central Reservations and was very happy overall.  The location is excellent for skiing, right across the street from the Gondola.  We stayed in unit 4440 which was a value unit.  I found that it was spacious and very clean for our family of 5.  The hot tub was nice to relax in after a long day.  The common areas could have been a little cleaner but they might just have a staffing issue.  Overall, I would recommend it, excellent stay!

Ski trip!

Spacious, clean, cozy and comfortable! Love the fireplace! The front desk was very courteous and helpful. We stayed for a 7 day Christmas vacay and we loved our lodging.  We enjoyed picturesque views of the morning snowfall while sipping on hot coffee!
