Hotel is located hundred meters away from the ski lift. The minor point is that big construction is right one step from the hotel and I suppose in next one or two years this construction works will spoil the location somehow. In any case, the territory of the hotel is peaceful and there are even some cows walking around, of course with corresponding smell of the village territory. 
Staff is helpful and welcoming. Room is big and comfortable, nice wooden terrace. Sleeping quality is very good, nice bed lined. Must notice separately that bathroom is perfect, everything is modern, new and clean. Wifi connection was stable and fast enough. Breakfast is average, I would expect more from such a countryside hotel in south Tyrol. In general, the price value is a little bit exaggerated i.m.h.o., however in any case I can easily recommend this property.

We've stayed in Bachlerhof on two occasions in January 2018. The newly built structure has excellent brand new double rooms with large bathrooms and we've enjoyed our stay on both occasions. Breakfast is very good and provides, along with the rooms and service great value.
Location for skiing in Kronplatz is great, the structure is just across the street from the lifts.

We loved skiing in Dolomitie, and Kronplatz is one of our favourite stop, because the lifts system is exceptionally great, the entire area probably has only two chair lifts, all others are covered gondolars, some even with heated seat...  It makes the winter ski experience so much more efficient and comfortable. And Bachlerhof is situated right across the road to the Kron 4 Gondolar station.  Takes only 3 mins on foot, and the hotel guests can leave all the gears by the ski depo by the station, a bonus of staying at BACHLERHOF!!!

We had a very spacious apartment, two stories, two specious bathrooms both with shower facility, one downstairs, and one up.  Two bedrooms are upstairs, downstairs is just the kitchen;  the lounge & the bathroom.  There is a gym and swimming pool ( heated ) near by; hotel guests can go use it for free; and at the sport center spa treatments are offered (didn't check the price though ).  Cannot comment on the room or the breakfast, because we stayed in the self catering apartment, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, lovely hostess, Sabina, who's always willing and ready to answer to guests' requests or to give suggestions.

If we do go back to Kronplatz to ski, there's no other choice than Bachlerhof.
