Very friendly family feel to the Guesthouse, spotlessly clean, breakfast was superb. Beds were comfy and showers were hot! Ideally located for walking or skiing, quiet part of town. Highly recommended. 

Superb Saalbach Guesthouse 

Really enjoyed our first trip to Saalbach last week. We had a good sized room at the back of the building with a balcony & it was very quiet. Brilliant, powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed. Car parking at the door.
Owners, Simone & Robert, go out of their way to make you feel welcome. A tasty continental breakfast is included in the price.
The Schattberg lift is a flat few mins walk. The ski bus also stops right outside the door going both ways. We also skied back to the bottom of run 86 & it was an easy walk back from there too or 2 stops on the ski bus. The skiing in the whole area is well linked with superb, fast, modern uplift & we didn’t see a single queue all week.
Ski shop directly next door which is handy & there are plenty of nearby restaurants too. Rossi was great for steak & the Crazy Deer did excellent burgers. You have to go to Hotel Peter on the Friday night too for the magic show haha!
Thank you Robert for your recommendations for our route back to Munich Airport. Roads were busy! 
We both said we would love to come back again, perhaps in the summer next time for some walking. Thanks again for a great stay :-)

The Pension is very clean and tidy and the couple running it are most welcoming and helpful. Location is great. Rooms are a bit small, but otherwise very nice. Balconies are big and there is a room to store ski equipment, as well as free sauna for relaxing after long day on the slopes.

Otherwise good breakfast if topped off by scrambled eggs cooked by the Mountain God himself.

Second visit to the Alpensport, this time in the summer, Simone and Robert put a lot of effort into making their guests welcome, the rooms are good and constantly being upgraded, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are of a good size, this time we had a room at the front of the hotel  with a balcony and great views up the mountain.

Breakfast is good there is a great cold selection as well as some Dutch specialities, there are also eggs if you want.

In the summer there is an honour bar and there is nothing better than having a beer on the terrace.

We indulged in another cheese fondue, superb.

If your a mountain biker they have  garage and are happy for you to store your bike in it.

A great stay, very relaxed and welcoming defiantly in our top places to stay.

Friendly and welcoming pension

Great guest house. Family run and giving excellent personal attention to each guest. Very friendly, clean and well located just a 5 minute walk to the center of town and the lifts.

The included continental breakfast had plenty of choice and was filling.

This pension also has a bar and a sauna.
