We were not able to stay at this property and are so disappointed about it.  I'd forgotten that kids' passports expire in 5 years, and realized about a week before we were to travel that we'd missed it.  Such a huge letdown!!!   Anyway, I had done all my planning based on staying here and everything was going so smoothly.  The location is perfect and convenient to activities, food, transportation, etc.  The owner was an excellent communicator and provided all the information I needed, in a very timely manner.  It is obvious that she is on top of things, and that gives me a lot of confidence (combined with the other great reviews on this site).  We had to ask for some special considerations and she was very accommodating.  We hope to reschedule our trip to Zermatt with current passports and will make every effort to stay at this property.

The Ascot was perfect for our group of five.  We stayed in the apartment on the third floor with a magnificent Matterhorn view.  The decor and furniture were very nice and comfortable.  The unit had everything that we needed and was extremely comfortable.  The apartment was totally clean and neat and well stocked.  The location is the best!  Close to the train station, all the lifts and main street.  Anywhere we wanted to go was a 5-7 minute walk.  The host, Judith, is amazing.  Extremely responsive and full of good information.  She was very helpful with the insurance (which we took because of covid) and even helped my sister with insurance and she wasn't even staying with Judith!  The whole group could not have been happier with the Ascot and we will stay there whenever we go to Zermatt.  We can't wait to go back and stay there again!  I would recommend the Ascot to any and all visitors to Zermatt!

We booked the studio for 4 nights and it was probably the best stay we ever had in the mountains. Jane is the most wonderful and helpful host and she went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We will for sure visit Zermatt again and we won´t even bother looking for a "new" place to stay, we´ll book Haus Ascot again. The location is amazing, the studio is very pretty and modern, you have everything you need. Absolute 10 out 10.

It's truly wonderful when all your expectations as a guest are being met. We had an amazing experience staying in Haus Ascot. Everything is worth it! The staff is warm and welcomed us and made us feel special. It was our first time in Zermatt and it was very memorable because of this place. The location is outstanding and the cleanliness of the place is great. I will surely stay here again when we go back!

This place is Excellent! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. She guided us to our living space and provided helpful tips and information during our stay. 

This hotel is perfectly situated in the center. Ski-Lifts are so near. Food, shopping, and leisure are just a minute walk away. I love to cook so I was so amazed at the kitchen because all the needed utensils are there. Oh happy me!

My all-time favorite is buying warm baked goodies from the bakery at the corner across the street before we head to the playground on a hill nearby with the kids.

Memories of the view (-of the majestic Matterhorn mountain), from our long glass front window, are just unforgettable. We love to spend the night there with our wine and our morning coffee under the sun.

The total ambiance of the place made our stay so peaceful and relaxing. I just can't wait to go back to this hotel.

Haus Ascot could not enjoy a more favourable spot. Located just a few minutes from the heart of the village, within easy walking distance of shops, cable cars and public transport, Ascot is a wonderful choice for your vacation in Zermatt, whichever season you choose to visit. You will find Haus Ascot in a quiet and attractive spot, yet completely convenient for just about everything!
