The place is highly "impersonal", starting with registration, check-in, electronic access. If they could, they would likely operate without any staff... 
Unacceptable privacy policy / collection of personal data, the safety of which they do not guarantee.
As we enter past the restaurant, bar and lounge, there is no "reception". Musty smell in the hallway, corridor and rooms. Night table lamp is missing a bulb, mouldy grout in the bathroom.
Whereas our room (#21) was fine and the bed was comfortable, our friends were given a much smaller room at the same rate, which clearly should have cost less! 
Dinner at the restaurant was very good however and breakfast selection was fine. Unfortunately though, both of us ended up with intestinal issues for two days following our breakfast. We suspect the likely culprit was open fruit juice in jugs which did not seem fresh. 
Overall, the place did not meet expectations, especially when considering value for money and lack of service.

Disappointing in more than one way

We stopped by this place for a drink and were met with understaffing, something we totally understand, so we waited patiently. Eventually, we ordered a beer and a glass of wine. The wine came in an absurdly small glass, especially considering it cost 8 Swiss francs.

When my partner went inside to pay, the man behind the counter had no clue which table we were at, which led to unnecessary confusion and frustration. And to top it all off, when we didn’t leave a tip (given the poor service), he sarcastically said: “Thanks for nothing.”

That level of rudeness is unacceptable. It completely ruined the experience and left us walking away angry. Definitely not coming back.

Attitude

What a bizarrely bad service there is in the bar/restaurant, I have rarely seen such rude and impolite people.

Initially upon arrival I told the younger gentleman on the terrace that he should take it easy, we had time and it was clearly visible by the running around of both gentlemen that they were understaffed. However, the other gentleman had already managed to get into (unnecessary) discussions with PAYING guests on several occasions. He appeared drunk and was downright rude. Again, things can happen when you're understaffed, but this is just unacceptable.

And then to top it all off, when paying, I get the same rude (drunk) man clearly frustrated because I don't know the table number, WHICH IS NOT MENTIONED ANYWHERE.. and then say "thank you for nothing" when I don't tip after this bizarrely bad experience. 

You should be deeply ashamed, this is no service and actually calls for action towards this gentleman, you drag the entire image and experience of this location through the mud by being so rude.

Waiter completely ruined the experience

We are all super excited about this new venture here in Andermatt and the amazing opportunity it presents in this magical village and ski arena. In the stunning scenery of Andermatt Ski resort at the foot of the Furka Pass and Gotthard Pass with easy access to Zurich and Milan. We present the La Vache restaurant bar and lounge, keeping the 3 shareholders from the original La Vache, (James Blunt, Lawrence Dallaglio and Carl Fogarty ) the Iconic Hotel Bergidyll, onetime home to Sean Connery - James Bond 007 and the Goldfinger production. We are about community here and we offer a hotel and restaurant with character and creativity. Enjoy lunch and dinner on our sunshine terrace and then enjoy the lounge bar and restaurant inside the Hotel will be serving an extensive range of mixed drinks ,contemporary and classic cocktails, draft beers, wines, champagnes and table bottle service, alongside a tasty unique menu to wet anyones pallette. Our resident DJ Konal ( Ibiza , London , Chicago ) will start warming up the decks around 9:30 pm running through to 1am .(Table bookings recommended)
