If I could give Hotel Biancaneve 6 dots here, I would.  This is hands down one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in.  Elena and Claudia are superb hosts, nothing is too much trouble, and they looked after us so well all week. My son had an accident on the first day of our ski trip and they kept checking in on us to make sure we were OK.  Everywhere is spotless and it's clear they take great pride in their hotel.  Cosy lounge / bar for relaxing after a day's skiing. Rooms are compact with everything you need and nothing you don't. Bathroom spotless with a great shower and lovely towels, changed regularly. Temperature of the room / hotel was perfect.  Location was brilliant, at the quieter end of town so you don't get all the après-ski noise but within 5 mins walk of the town centre.  Walk to Clotes lift in 5 mins (more in ski boots), bear in mind it's all uphill obviously or take the bus to Sportinia for €10.40 weekly ticket. The nearest bus stop is 30 seconds walk down from the hotel - couldn't be better.  Sauze is such a pretty place, particularly the old town with its narrow, cobbled streets and we're so glad we stayed here rather than one of the bigger hotels.  Crystal Ski don't offer half board for some reason but I think that's a big miss - we heard such good reports about the home cooking and the smells from the restaurant each evening were amazing.  Thank you Claudia & Elena (and all your staff) for a wonderful stay, we'd love to return, just without the mishaps this time! x

What a gem of a place!

We stayed here over New Year. The hotel is  in a great location in the centre of the town   next to one of the first bus stops so no problem getting on the ski bus. The hotel is exceptionally clean and very welcoming and well run. Great continental breakfast served daily.

Thank you for a great stay we would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again if we come back to Sauze d'oulx

Great stay with  warm welcome

This is truly a beautiful family run hotel, which is run by two wonderful sisters. The hotel is immaculate, and each and every day, the rooms are cleaned to the highest of standards. Breakfast is continental, giving a good variety to fill you up before venturing off to the slopes, which are close by. We were really impressed by the family-friendly approach, a credit to Sauze d'Loux.

This hotel is a home from home. The hosts, Elena and Claudia, were delightful, always there to welcome us back with a smile and a chat and always happy to help with recommendations and ideas. Their hotel is beautifully clean and we were welcome to come and go as we pleased. Breakfast was a good start to the day and the walk to the piste was easy. There’s even a bus stop next to the hotel if you’d rather take that. The ski options were great for our group of mixed abilities and the facilities both for ski hire, storage and mountain restaurants were excellent. Sauze was full of character with some great restaurants, all at a very reasonable price.

This is a small independent hotel run by the same family for over 60 years. The rooms are functional with comfy beds and are immaculately clean The food is great and the owners go the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I can honestly say it has been one of the best ski hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay in 👍
