We’ve had the best week at Lake Garda during half term, which has been made much easier due to this wonderful hotel. We booked the half board option via Jet2 and have not been disappointed at all! 

Room 
Our room had a side view of the lake which was a lovely surprise! The room was big enough for the two of us with ample amenities (tea, coffee, fridge, safe etc). Our balcony was ample sized, and especially handy during sun sets. Beds are a little hard but that’s down to personal preference. Our main issue with the room was that the balcony adjacent and one floor below were smokers, which meant that when we opened our balcony door to cool the room, we were often hit with the constant smell of cigarettes. 

Food
The half board option was fantastic! And the food was Bellissimo! Breakfast had everything you could ever want from omelette to crepes to full cooked to continental. Evening meal was a choice of two course from a set menu - always plenty of choice! In addition there was a salad station and dessert station serving delights, every night. Drinks were reasonably priced, with plenty of choice. 

Garda itself is gorgeous with plenty of streets to get lost down. We spent everyday either on the boat or on the local bus visiting new towns each time. Note of advice - if travelling from October onwards, the bus and boats run a reduced schedule. Plus many excursions close mid October so we missed a couple we would have liked to do. This was our first time visiting Lake Garda, but it definitely won’t be our last - Grazie Hotel Excelsior le Terazze!

The best week in Lago di Garda

We stayed here from 27th September for a week.
We found the location of the hotel to be perfect, just on the edge of the lake and it has amazing views.
Everything including the rooms was super clean.
The food was very good and service was exceptional.

Great place to stay in September

Excellent rooms, even better food, very friendly and helpful staff. We found half-board better than b&b so we didn't have to search for restaurants every day, even though there were plenty about.

What can I say, we love this hotel, our 4th time. Booked next year already.All the staff are amazing, reception staff, Vito in the restaurant, I truly mean all the staff, the hotel is spotless.food is amazing. We were bed and breakfast this year, but are in5 or 6 times in the restaurant.cannot fault anythink about the hotel, only 10min walk down to gardas bars and restaurants. All the reception staff will help you with anythink you need. Love the place and all the staff.

This hotel is excellent on every front, location is perfect just a few minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of Garda and yet very tranquil.  Friendly helpful staff, I'm not singling out anyone as they were all exceptionally pleasant and professional.  

The rooms and public areas are well appointed and immaculate.  Food is superb, fresh, with plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner.  The complimentary afternoon tea is a real treat after a day out being a "tourist"

I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for a quality hotel in Garda.

Fantastic hotel in excellent location

The new Hotel Excelsior Le Terraze opened on the 1st of May, after six months of refurbishing. We have created larger and brighter rooms. Completely soundproofed with high levels of comfort and safety. The restaurant welcomes you in a relaxing and elegant ambiance with high levels of service. Rooms with air-conditioning, minibar, safe, coffee-making facilities, SAT TV, hair dryer. Balconies available. We offer standard, superior and deluxe rooms. Swimming pool with whirlpool, terraces overlooking the lake. Parking.
