Stayed here for 3 nights on a road trip across France/Germany in Sept.

Hotel location is good option for the town, close to pedestrian zone etc. Can be a little noise from some close places (sat night) and adjacent what i assume are rental propertied (air b&b etc) ... but nothing major.

Check in was smooth, we were able to part right outside and hotel has about spaces which are private to them. All local things explained and hotel, breakfast times etc.

We had a 2nd floor room (there is a lift) with a great balcony overlooking the mountains , room had everything you need, bathroom was ok, shower a little small for me (i'm a big chap) but again no issue really ......... Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels if needed.

Breakfast was good, allocated table and good selection of items, no hot food but again not an issue as plenty of places around if you did want something more substantial.......... 

Good overall stay, perfect placed for exploring a beautiful area.

It's a great location with walking distance to the walk zone and plenty of restaurants and shops. Staff is very friendly.  The room size was decent, cleanness  also OK.
It was a bit noisy: the windows were open since it was a hot summer, the main street is 50 metres away only. Plus there is a church tower nearby with a clock bell every 15 minutes, with huge bells twice daily (including 6 am !). So if you are looking for a quiet place, it's not something I would recommend.

The hotel is run by an extremely accomodating staff and is in a prime location in town. Restaurants, bakeries, the train station, and even hiking trails are all within a couple of minutes to ten minutes walk. The room is quaint but still pleasant; it is certainly better than what you would otherwise get for the same (or higher) price anywhere else in town. At present time it is also extremely safe to stay there! The staff took every preventative measure possible against COVID-19; my wife and I were grateful. When I go back to Garmisch, I absolutely will go back to this hotel. 100% would recommend!

Wonderful hotel, family-run. Staff were great and rooms very nice. Nice breakfast is included. Location is wonderful...easy to walk to town center for dinner. Parking across street from hotel makes it easy.

great place

Clean, comfortable and in a handy location for both the town centre and 10mins walk to Hausberg ski lift. However, it's a B&B rather than a hotel. We couldn't get drinks or tea/coffee outside breakfast hours, although these are advertised in the welcome manual. Breakfast was basic, unfortunately there wasn't enough to go round all the guests. The staff were pleasant but one fellow seemed to be doing all work. If they increased their staffing, it might provide a more efficient operation, especially at breakfast. If you rather a hotel experience go elsewhere otherwise this is a comfortable and clean but more expensive B&B option.
