We were riding our bicycles through the Austrian Alps and came to the Tourist Information Center at the train station in Seefeld.  The helpful host pointed us to Hotel Dietrich.  What a great choice!  The rooms were big and comfortable for two of us in each room.  Showers were fantastic after a long day of climbing on our bikes!  They had a shed outside that was perfect for our bicycles.  Breakfast in the morning was delicious.  Our hostess was what really made it special.  She went out of her way to help us with laundry and visiting downtown Seefeld.  Really, really enjoyed our short stay.  Will definitely come back!

Homely, welcoming, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Two very cute little dogs trotting about the place (might not be great if your allergic, but very cute and lovely if you like dogs). Great location for all slopes and not far to walk anywhere in Seefeld. Very central.

This hotel was not our first choice in Seefeld as we had paid to stop at the nearby Tyrol with its additional facilities. However a last-minute phone call from the tour operator indicated that the Tyrol was overbooked and we would instead be staying at the Dietrich. We were further perturbed on arrival to find that there was no room at the Dietrich either, presumably because of a lack of communication between the tour company and the hotel. However the owner was really apologetic even though it probably wasn't her fault, and arranged for her husband to take us to another B&B near to Seefeld (the Engl-Hof), bring us back for dinner, and return us to the B&B before bedtime. Definitely service beyond the call of duty- many thanks to the owners.

Breakfast is absolutely fine at the Dietrich, and is generously from 8-10am; the two dogs mentioned in previous reviews are not obtrusive or a problem unless you are very allergic to them. The hotel does not do evening meal. What is somewhat unpleasant is the smell of cigarettes, although this seemed to be confined to the hall and stairways. 

This is not a four star hotel nor does it pretend to be. However it is very clean and friendly and was absolutely fine - the lack of facilities was a slight problem for us (eg spa/pool) but we accessed these at the hotel we had originally booked. This is clearly not the fault of the Dietrich and we had a relaxing break there.

Pleasant stay in Dietrich

For my ski holiday 2016 i really enjoyed my stay here,it is very central for the ski bus and a breakfast that was superb ,They have two lovely small dogs that never bother any one .When I arrived my walking distance from the coach was less than 30 meters.

Our fifth time in Seefeld and we've stayed a number of places. This hotel, optimistically rated as 3 star, is small and traditional with no facilities other than a ski store - it really is bed only. It is hugely overpriced when booked through Crystal Ski given that for half board it is more expensive than the Tyrol, also 3 star, which has a bar, sauna, pool, free afternoon coffee and cake, excellent food and service and even evening entertainment. We have to go to the Schoenegg hotel for our evening meal, which is 3 mins' walk and very good.
Unfortunately the smell of stale cigarette smoke is all-pervading and we have resorted to stuffing the sports section of the local paper under the bedroom door to stop the smell of cigs waking us up in the morning. The room is very basic though clean and the beds are comfy. 
That said the owners are friendly and the breakfast is good. There is no hot food but you can get a boiled egg if you ask.  The two little dogs make for a homely feel.  If the price was realistic there would be no reason to complain.
