Fantastic 2 night stay in this family run hotel with excellent service and very friendly staff. Lovely breakfast and I would highly recommend to have dinner there as offer excellent Bavarian (European) cuisine.  
Spacious, clean rooms with balcony, comfortable beds and tea and coffee facility.

This was walking distance to the skating rink and located in a quiet location very close to restaurants, the skating rink and everything else.  The lady serving us at breakfast was charming with a quirky sense of humor and their restaurant was good for any meal.  Chanterelle mushrooms were in season and I had this in a thick cream sauce with bread dumplings for dinner one day.  I loved it.  For breakfast, I requested that my coffee was made in a certain way and they did it very well.  I would have to say that it's better if you speak German.  Checking in and checking out will be no problem but the rest of the staff may not speak English.

I was in Oberstdorf for a sport event in winter, when lots of rooms are booked long time in advance. I was lucky to find a place in this lovely hotel, my time there was precious. First of all, the position was very good: central, but at the same time quiet. Restaurants, shops, train station, everything is within 10 minutes by foot. Then our room was so cool! It was really spacious, decorated with class in a traditional style and equipped with all comforts. I especially appreciate the big sofa, perfect to relax after a long day in the mountains, and the balcony with a pleasant view. Ok, it was a bit dated, it was visible in the bathroom and the floor carpet needed to be changed. But the whole property is run with care, it has family atmosphere, you definitely feel fine there. There was also an onsite restaurant & pub, even if we didn't try it. We had just breakfast in the hotel and it was top quality. Maybe not a huge buffet, but there was a little bit of everything and it was prepared with attention. At the end, quality matters, not quantity. And the staff... amazing!!! The man at the reception was always welcoming us with a smile and a warm attitude, we felt among friends. For my budget, Adler was a bit expensive, but I don't regret any single Euro I spent there, it was surely worth.
