My friend and I booked a 10-day stay at Hotel Miramonti in Corvara.

We expected the hotel to live up to its four-star rating as well as the photos shown on Hotels.com, the hotel’s own website, etc.

But the hotel turned out to be very old and poorly maintained. The reception area, bar, fitness room and sauna are all in bad condition. The rooms are tasteless and lack any charm. We also booked a room with three single beds but were given a bunk bed and a double bed instead. The locker room in the basement was full of mold and rust, and you could clearly hear people in the neighboring rooms.

I stayed at the hotel for two days before I had to move because it honestly felt like being at a motel on an American highway.

I absolutely cannot recommend this hotel.

In addition, they charge €10 to use the sauna and €18 per night for parking.

You get a very clear sense that the hotel is part of a chain that is only interested in making money off its guests.

Terrible Experience - DO NOT BOOK!

Hotel Miramonti Corvara has in its back the little town Corvara in Badia. This property, located in a unique and beautiful alpine area, enjoys an optimal position with easy access to the winter ski facilities and the enchanting routes for hiking in summer. With its richness and variety, Corvara attracts lot of tourists coming from all over Europe from the most demanding mountaineers to the to the family on a relaxing holiday. The hotel overlooks the famous mountain group "Sella". We are in the heart of the Dolomites, in the center of the famous Sella Ronda, a circuit of over 500 km of snow-capped ski slopes crossing uninterrupted other well known locations such as Canazei, Arabba and Selva di Val Gardena. In summer the slopes of South Tyrol change into charming paths among firs and granitic mountains where to enjoy relaxing walks . Built in traditional Tyrolean style Hotel Miramonti offers all the amenities you may need The rooms are divided in a central part and in an adjoining dependence, but they all have the same comfort which will embrace the guests in its refined simplicity giving them a warm welcome. Their strength consist in the extraordinary view onto the beautiful surrounding landscape. At sunset, the unmistakable skyline of the Sassongher Mountain becomes tinged red. From the Hotel Miramonti Corvara one can see clearly its summit lit by the last rays of the sun.. The 12 valleys of the biggest ski area in the world are ready to welcome you with 1200 km ski slopes and 450 lifts.
