After arriving after an epic 10 hour drive from Calais . We were greeted by the lovely head of house Clara . She showed us around the facilities and then to our accommodation which is a chalet type accommodation up 2 flights of stairs (no lift ) the chalet is a 20metre walk around the rear of the main hotel , good access from the rear car park . The views from the balcony on a clear day are incredible and you overlook the small outdoor heated pool area .  The hotel has just had a refurbishment and everything is so warm and fresh especially in the main bar and dining area which has a small play room for younger kids with a fusball table and board games and some chill sofas /cushions ideal for younger kids get kids when parents are in the bar or restaurant and  want to let the kids off while they enjoy the food /drinks 
Clara and the team are always welcoming her chef husband who is on the kitchen does again an absolutely amazing job of the food . We had a small incident on New Year’s Day when he had a well deserved day off and they had to draft a chef in . The food wasn’t good but Clara quickly was on top of this and cancelled our bill for that night . Her customer service skills are absolutely impeccable. As are her staff members .  We shared New Year’s Eve in the bar and was so good to see all there staff and there families coming together in the bar at midnight to celebrate together and they involved us too with complimentary champagne. 
We are in the restaurant on our last evening after Clara saying the head chef was back we ordered the sharing Savoyard  raclette . .. wow !! Just wow ! The presentation , the amount and the kids all had the same as what they had ordered the night before . And they all said at how amazingly good the food was. (And they are fussy ) 
 Food is a good 9-10  
Restaurant and bar area 10/10 
  Accommodation which we had hasn’t been refurbished like the main hotel . Which was a little tired with some signs of wear we paid a good price for the week so I didn’t feel the need to bring this up but just highlighting that for other people of they are In the chalet . We didn’t have the room cleaned the whole time we were there but we preffered that as we had so much ski gear we literally didn’t have much room . As there was 3 kids 2 adults . So we was happy that we were left alone and just kept on top of cleaning ourselves . You can ask for extra towels etc at reception and they are more than happy to help . 
 Location is perfect for the grand massif express about a 5min walk in ski gear . Local shop 2 doors away and an absolutely amazing Boulangerie across the road  I mean amazing !!!  We got our lunch and breakfast from there  to take up the mountains with us .. 
so a  score of my review and to why I gave 4 out of 5 
Staff and reception 10/10 
Main hotel and spa area 7/10 due to broken hot tub/jacuzzi 
Food 9/10 
Location 10/10 for access to a few other restaurants and mountain telecabine and busses good car park at behind hotel 
Cleanliness of hotel 9/10 
Room (only the one we stayed in can’t comment on main hotel 6:10 
Overall a n amazing time and I would just like to say a massive thanks to Clara and her team having just opened on the 19th December and having a very busy Xmas  you made it one of the best winter trips we’ve had with our family .  We will definitely return .

Amazing place after recent referbishment Clara and her team are a credit to the place . Very good x
