In celebrating a dear friend's 80th birthday, we stayed at the LL Inn.  It was a superb experience  from exceptional staff at check in, in the restaurants and in both maintenance and hospitality  The rooms are very comfortable, the food and beverage were excellent, the pool was  wonderful, large, well lit and easily accessible. The Explorer Lounge manager and staff ensured we that our party celebrations were perfect, permitting us to bring in the birthday cake, allowing sparklers on the cake and a bottle of Champagne. Our birthday girl received a special mug, chocolates and a card from the Inn! 
There were 11 of us, all from Canmore and we were all made to feel very welcome, no request was too much!  The Inn receives the highest accolades from our group of Bow Valley locals...

Superb experience, not to be missed.  Excellent location, service , staff and amenities.

This is a perfectly ok 3 star hotel. Parking is easy and free. Access to ski bus stop simple. Reception friendly and efficient. 
Room is pretty old fashioned, not very clean, and generally weary.
We were in the main block which is temperature controlled centrally ie generally cold in the room. 
Truthfully I didn't rate this hotel and would be disinclined to stay a second time.
The post hotel opposite would be so much nicer although a lot more expensive.

All rather weary.

It’s great to know you enjoyed the quiet location in Building 4, the proximity to amenities, and especially that your pup felt so welcome. We’re very happy she enjoyed her rope toy and travel dish — our pet-friendly touches are something we truly value. We’re also glad our grounds team’s snow clearing efforts stood out, as they work hard to keep everything safe and accessible throughout the winter.

We do appreciate your feedback regarding the bed size and the absence of a bar fridge in your room. You’re correct that some room types, particularly in different buildings, do vary in layout and amenities. We understand how much of a difference a mini fridge can make, especially on longer stays, and your comments are very helpful as we continue reviewing guest feedback and room offerings.

It’s wonderful to hear that the pool and hot tubs were a highlight after your cross-country skiing days — there’s nothing better than soaking after time out on the trails.

We repeated our stay at the Lake Louise Inn this year, such a great mid week deal it made sense to take a few days off and take advantage of the tremendous snow and weather up in the rockies. Our room was in building 4 very close to the main building where all the amenities are located. The room was quiet and never heard any other occupants from either side. The bed was a surprise, we think it was a double, definitely not queen size, there was a nice 3 seater couch that was a pullout bed as well. We had our tripod dog with us and she was very comfortable, she received a lovely rope toy and a food traveling dish made of nylon, she loved both items very much! The little snow plows were out all times of day keeping the parking lot and sidewalks clear and safe and we sure appreciated that service. We wish there would have been the usual bar fridge in the room but was told not at that room level. our friends who booked at the same time and at the same price but didn't have a dog and were in the main building had the mini fridge which makes a world of difference. The pool is lovely, and the hot tubs, hot! we loved them every day after our cross country skiing.

Came here with a group for x/c skiing and snowshoeing in the area. The accommodation was just fine , but what made it extra special was the wonderful staff from all over the world.
