The good: Cute little apartment, kitchen was spotlessly clean. Mattress was firm and very comfortable. Location is ideal, it's 5 minute walk to Courmayeur city centre, so away from the hustle and bustle but very quick to walk back after dinner/night out. Also walking distance to the 2 gondolas that take you up to Plain Checrouit.

The not so good: Kitchen did not have basic ingredients like oil, salt & pepper, or washing up liquid/cleaning products - which is a little odd. It seems very wasteful if every short-term stay guests will have to buy their own cleaning products and basic cooking ingredients. In fact, another reviewer had just written they were charged €50 for leaving the kitchen dirty - but there was no cloths/sponge/cleaning products?

Now, the worst part: they didn't even know about our booking! I booked through booking.com, booking made in October for January stay and as far as I could see the reservation was confirmed for 4 nights. We arrived on Friday evening at Geneva Airport, both my flight and my friend's had been delayed so we were running late. So once we got into our airport transfer taxi, I called the hotel to give them a heads up with updated ETA, instead of 7.30pm it would have been 9pm. To my horror the lady claimed that she was not expecting anyone to come, she had gone home but she would go back to the hotel to check. She rang back to say there was no booking under my name or my friend's name. I gave her our names and our booking reservation number and PIN. I could hear her flicking through paper pages - it seemed that their booking system is not yet digital. What followed was many phone calls and chat through the Booking.com app, we had to find an alternative hotel. In the end this hotel let us stay for 2 nights and afterwards we had to pack up, check out, and walk with our luggage to the second hotel and check in. Through this whole process, the lady at reception never mention the word sorry. She never apologised, for the fact that they had misplaced the booking. That we have to move hotel mid-stay. If you want a client to return to your hotel you should be saying you're sorry for the confusion/miscommunication/whatever you wish to call it, sorry that we have to change hotel as your hotel was fully booked for the other 2 nights, and perhaps even offered some help with moving to the next hotel. Instead, she looked annoyed that we have inconvenienced her on Friday evening when she was already at home.

hotel its quite decent but the staff are litlle arrogant,we never had room cleand and if we used kitchen and make it dirtythere was extra charge of 50 euros.
rooms were large and comfortable with elevator.

I 2nd December I booked a 3-bed room at Le Talus for a couple plus son. Very unfortunately on just 1 day past the 50% cancellation deadline of 14th December my wife had a serious medical event (herniated L5/S1 vertebral disc) that will absolutely preclude our taking this visit to Courmayeur for skiing. Despite cancelling the reservation barely 24 hours past the deadline date, and then emailing to the management in explanation, they nonetheless deducted the 50% fee of EUR250. So this is my 250 Euros worth of whinge about their hard-nosed operating practice. They will certainly be able to re-let that room within the next month so have gained a completely undeserved EUR250 at my expense.

Might be a nice place to stay but they are mean with their confiscation of deposits

We stayed in a 4 bed appartment which faced the parkinglot (parked car 2 meters from our window). We had to keep the curtains closed to avoid people looking in. 
The appartment had a basement feeling, the floor and walls in one of the two bedrooms were very cold. The appartment also smelled of cigarette smoke. According to the staaf, all the 4-bed appartments faced the parkinglot.

This self-catering apartment was perfectly located for us - 5-10 mins walk into town, and 5 mins walk to Dolonne ski lift.
Kitchen was very well stocked with all equipment, and the shower was hot and powerful.
Temperature was spot on too.  Rooms were very spacious and plenty of storage/cupboard space in bedroom.
Was greeted by friendly member of staff who highlighted some nice restaurants in town and local shops for meat/cheese/bread.
Very impressed.
