The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because of the friendly staff who organised our transfer and greeted us warmly each day. Apart from that everything else was pretty bad. Room was dated and falling to pieces. Dirty cupboards and drawers, wouldn’t even risk using the small kitchen (hobs didn’t work anyway), shower overflowed and leaked, shower doors were hanging on by a thread, mould and dirt in the bathroom, and skirting boards hanging off. We booked last minute and thought we got a good price for room and breakfast but it fell far below our basic expectations. We went down for the first day of breakfast and ate a bit of toast. We’re not picky eaters but nothing looked appealing.

Good accommodation at a great price,
We stayed as a group of six in two rooms. Room basic but clean. Not spotless but not dirty. 
Comfortable beds to get your head down, rooms very warm, with plenty of hot water in the shower. 
Rooms had toaster,kettle, microwave and fridge not that we used it. 
Room was large enough of the 3 of us.
Hotel staff friendly with very limited English.
Breakfast was ok hard boiled eggs,beans, and some kind of sausage. Bread cheese and ham, yogurt fresh fruit. It was ok. 
The hotel also arranged transfers for us from the airport to resort which where great no messing about. Came out the airport and driver waiting for us. 
Again on departure driver waiting for us even came to our room to make sure we had woken. Only 10 euros per person each way.

All in all very please 4 nights with breakfast £100 per person that’s £25 per night with breakfast.

Didn’t pay Ferrari prices so we all were very happy.

Also ski hire  shop under the hotel so very handy. Small walk to the Gondola and bars about 8/10 mins. 

All in all cheap basic clean hot hotel. Would I stay again at that price 100%.

Great value hotel. A few mins from slopes.

The hotel was very nice and the staff were fantastic, very friendly and very generous. Good location from the slopes and close to the gondala, also has a ski/snow board hire located within hotel, so we did not need to go to the “main depot” to collect our gear.
Value wise = great! Couldn’t be better for value.
Balconies for each room. Was a homely experience and the rooms had a self adjusted thermostat, making our stay very cosy with comfy beds. Shower had good hot water pressure, all essentials including corkscrew available in room. 
Breakfast and dinner was pleasant and facilities were clean.

We stayed at a lovely well equipped apartment. It had everything we needed- coffee machine, kettle, kitchenette ( with a hob). Lovely view from our balcony. It is away from all the noise and crowds, which I consider as a plus. Would definitely go back again.

Comfortable and away from noise.

We stayed here with family whilst on a skiing holiday. 1st time in Bulgaria.
We chose this hotel as reasonably priced and now I understand why. The hotel is at the bottom of an inclining road abiht a 5 min walk to the gondola, restaurants and ski hire shops and about a 10 min walk to the slopes and ski lifts (lifts and gondola are separate and you have to cross a road to get to either one)  If you are expecting a 4* and like in England then you will be very disappointed, its more a 2* at the most. Hotel outside looks quite nice hut inside is very different, dark, very dated and in dyer need of a refurb. Hotel owner/manager collected us from the airport in a van that was so dirty you couldn't see out of the windows atall (about an hour or so transfer from Sofia), hardly speaks English and when we arrived at Villa Park he typed in his computer that came up in english one room had plumbing issues so could we share 2 rooms between 7 of us for 1 night. I couldn't believe all rooms were full but he didn't charge us transfer fee (140 lev) and gave us a couple of bottles of wine which was fair enough and we were grateful. I don't even know how to describe the rooms, 1 double bed with uncomfortable mattress and super thin pillows I had to use a couple of towels underneath to prop my head up a little. A sofa bed which was OK but the bedding isn't exactly clean (marks and stairs on bedding and mattress) room dirty with clumps of dust, my room walls were painted 3 different shades of yellow (room 107) with a white paint running down 1 wall, skirting board missing or broken, towel rail not work in bathroom, water from shower flowed so slowly by the time you finished the water was nearly over the top of the tray, shower temperature is extremely temperamental and all of us nearly scolded ourselves until we got used to adjusting it. Room are apartments so have a kitchen area, cupboards have cups, glasses, cutlery, plates which most were chipped.
Downstairs there's a small games room, pool table and eating area, breakfast is basic and all we could eat was a couple of slices of toast and fruit. Coffee so strong 2 in our group said it tasted like tar  
You get what you pay for I guess but I would save and stay somewhere alot better and closer to the slopes. I wouldn't return and also I wouldn't return to Borovets.
