Big ski area - Soldeu and El Tarter are both part of Andorra's Grandvalira ski area - the largest in the Pyrenees. Soldeu’s ski school has an excellent reputation with beginners and young learners, while El Tarter has a slightly quieter, more relaxed feel for those wanting to escape the après hustle and bustle.
Best for beginners - Arinsal and La Massana are part of the smaller Vallnord ski area, with gentle slopes that are perfect for young or first-time skiers. Relaxed, affordable, and with a lovely low-key atmosphere - it’s fantastic for a first family ski holiday with little ones.
