La Croix de Savoie & Spa

Les Carroz

Just back from a skiing holiday with my son. We stayed at the Hotel La Croix Savoie & Spa for 5 nights.  Everybody was incredibly friendly, even offering to open up breakfast for us earlier so we could catch the earlier ski bus.  The room was cleaned every day and was spotless. Had a great nights sleep each night and a really wide choice of breakfast.  The hotel is in a quiet area but only 10 minutes to walk into the centre or back from the TeleKabine.

Wonderful Stay

Great experience. The fact that the hotel has its own bus stop really makes a difference and gives the option to end the day at Les Molliets and be back
In 15 minutes. Although up the hill the walk from the town centre is little more than 10 minutes although given buses don’t run after 7pm this would be an issue for anyone with mobility issues.

The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable.

Staff are friendly and attentive.

Breakfast is excellent but make sure you book directly through the hotel’s own website for meal options. Booking direct Bed and Beeakfast costs the same as booking on Booking.com without breakfast with breakfast then costing an additional €25 per head.

We didn’t use the “spa” facilities - much better option is to book into Aquacime in town with outdoor pool for essentially the same price.

Overall this place doesn’t have the feel of a four star hotel but if you view it as a comfortable 3 star hotel with some optional extras it’s a great option, in particular for a short break.

Great option but book direct theough hotel for best deals

great little hotel, family run (lovely food by Mum) nice  and quiet, clean, good value and location is a wee bit out of the centre about 15 minutes walk but free ski bus so no hassle really, perfect for me and my 14 year old daughters 3 day ski trip as other hotels in Les carrot not so accommodating on short stay around half term. Went half board which was perfect for us.
