We spent a week at the Hotel Alpinarosa. The hotel, which is actually only 5 rooms occupying  the first floor in an apartment building, is a 3-star annex to the 4-star + Hotel Belarosa. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the one to the other. The guests at AlpinArosa enjoys the wonderful breakfast in the elegant and very friendly atmosphere of the BelArosa. The amenities of the Belarosa (swimming pool, saunas etc) are open as well to the guests of the Alpinarosa. 
We were skiing for 5 days. Needless to say, the pists were perfect. We had our skis and boots in the ski room of the Belarosa. From there, it is a 3 minutes walk before you can put the skis on, then ski down a small slope and you are at the first chair lift, which takes you right up in the mountain above the forest line. The return home at the end of the day is as convenient as the departure, as a slope is leading down to the village and it takes about 5 minutes to walk back to the hotel.
The rooms at the Alpinarosa are newly refurbished in a style of simple elegance, yet cozy because of the extensive use of wood in the interior. The bathroom is simple and elegant. Everything is very clean. The beds as well as the linen are very comfortable. The owners of the Belarosa/Alpinarosa as well as their very friendly staff were always welcoming and helpful. We are happy that we had the Alpinarosa as our base for a fantastic skiing holiday in Arosa. Highly recommended!
