We stayed at Arcadia apartments over New Year 2022 & found it to be very adequate.
It is owned by the Goldberg Hotel group so the key needed to be collected there & any issues adressed to their reception, aside from a cleaner we never encountered any staff at the Arcadia but that didn't bother us.
Requests we had were dealt with swiftly (no hand soap in bathroom, no tea towels) & there is a laundry room with washing machine & dryer which were usable with coins that was very handy.
The apartment itself was spacious & comfortable, cleanliness good too.
The location is a 10 minute walk to the centre of Bad Hofgastein, to get to the ski lifts we drove (definitely not walking distance) but there is a free ski bus to the Schlossalm lift nearby.

Practical family apartments

Enniskeane, County Cork

Our family with three children stayed at Arcadia Apartments for a week of skiing. The location is good with walking distance to two supermarkets, and a ski bus stop just outside. Restaurants are only a short walk away. At arrival you collect your keys at the Goldberg hotel, and the staff there was very helpful. Note that the Goldberg is a kilometer or so from Arcadia, on the hill above the lift station. 
The apartment was clean with newly renovated kitchen and two bathrooms, practical for a family. There is a locked ski room downstairs.
A few things could be improved: More hangers for ski jackets etc in the apartment - with 5 skiers together there are lots of items to dry overnight! We also lacked the gear to somehow dry your ski boots. The ski room was heated but became very humid with melting snow and there were no heated rack for boots.
In all, we had a good stay at Arcadia.

We went to Bad Hofgastein with 6 Month old boy and spent 3 nights in Arkadia. It was EXCELLENT! Believe me: everything is new there: the furniture, the carpets, bedrooms etc. It has a great sauna but works just between 4-8 PM. The receptionists were very kind and helpful. They gave us baby bed too and extra heater. 2010 is a whole different year for them too, so they are really interrested to give every tourist what they would like to have. I will recommend this hotel for my friends because of the prices and ofe the quality!

I booked stay for my family in May 2008 to spend nice time in December in hotel Arkadenhof.They wrote us that they are remodelling hotel to apartament house but everything will be ready in December. About week before departure we got e-mail from hotels.com that they cannot reach anyone in hotel arkadenhof. About day before arrival after  of e-mails and calls to hotel..someone wrote us that they are not opening in December but in February 2009. We would understand that they were not able to open because of problems. But letter, e-mail or sth. about this would be nice.
