The hotel was apparently recently refurbished, thus the rooms were like new, very clean and modern. But quite standard, definitively not cosy. Breakfast VERY standard, dont expect more than the minimum and avoid the orange juice. Avoid the rooms on the lake side as it is also the main road side (quite busy from 7am on). We did not really feel welcomed. Quite in a distance from the city center.

Our stay was good and we enjoyed our stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly. There was no language problem as every staff understood English. Room was neat and clean with soft towels in the bathroom. Breakfast was not great but tolerable

I have stayed at other hotels in Engelberg, and this was by far my best experience to date. The room was very well designed, very clean, and had an incredible view. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was a bit further from the train station, but only a short walk with incredible scenery.

Excellent quality, great location

We had a fantastic stay thanks to Ramona. She helped us get settled, arranged for dinner for 8 people, and kindly answered all of our questions. She was great!  The hotel was clean and the family rooms were the nicest and most spacious we’ve had in Switzerland with a wonderful view of the lake and mountains.
