Very nice hotel. Great value for the price. The spa is very qualitative, very nice jacuzzi with a beautiful view of the mountains, nice hammam that smells great. The view is beautiful and the staff is friendly.

We would not stay here again, though we had a fine stay. Housekeeping is excellent - this is a remarkably clean hotel, and we found the ambiance to be quite nice. Especially in contrast to your typical American hotel chain, this has a much more "homey" feel, almost more like a bed and breakfast. The rooms are well appointed, but the WiFi never worked for us in our room, despite its prime location right next to a router. 
A few specific notes:
--The bed/pillows are incredibly uncomfortable. Worst I've ever slept on, and I travel for a living. As if batting was just stuffed into a piece of fabric and sewn shut.

--One night a drunk jerk barged into our room in the middle of the night yelling - he had been yelling at a woman he was with in their room not long before, and stomping up and down the stairs. We must not have locked our door - the door had to be locked from the inside with a key and was very difficult to engage, so I wouldn't be surprised - but nothing was ever done or said about the disturbance/danger to guests this caused. 

--Our key didn't work on the outside door, which automatically locked after 11pm (?) until 6am. One morning we were locked out - and again made to feel like a nuisance by the staff when we were finally let in. The keys are pretty old, and there aren't alternatives for the rooms, so we just couldn't leave between those hours.

Service was minimal - I mean, almost non-existent - besides housekeeping, and any time we did interact with the front desk, they made us feel like we were interrupting them. Additionally, they were never helpful in answering questions, and didn't really make an effort to be. We actually avoided leaving Veysonnaz for a dinner reservation one night because we were basically afraid to ask the "Concierge" how best to get there - we anticipated another cold interaction ending in us feeling like an inconvenience. WiFi wasn't working, so we couldn't really research it ourselves. 

The restaurant felt the same way - and I left a separate, similar review there.

A final note I think needs to be made is how difficult and time consuming it is to get to Veysonnaz or from Veysonnaz to just about anywhere else around the 4 vallees (or... down the mountain). For example, getting to Verbier anyway BUT skiing - which is not always possible - takes 2+ hours each way via public transit, and can only be done during limited hours. So.... I suggest strongly considering staying where you want to spend your time, vs. thinking you'll be able to move around the valleys much. Veysonnaz is a teeeeny tiny town, with about nothing to do besides snow activities in the winter. 

For skiing the 4 Vallees, we found this hotel to be by far the best value of any we could stay at on the Epic pass (there are limited options) during our research. Ironically, the hotel had no awareness of their relationship with Epic when we arrived, and we were concerned for a night that we would not get our lift tickets - it worked out, though (after having the hotel fax a copy of our epic pass to the lift ticket office, about 30 minutes at the lift ticket office, and another phone call between the two offices... ). If we were to return to the 4 Vallees, we would stay in Verbier - there are Epic options there for not much more money, where there would be FAR more options in terms of apres activities and restaurants.

We arrived to picture perfect views & location. We did not speak French very well & the staff didn’t take kindly to this. We felt unwelcome & barely got served at the hotel for drinks so we went to the next door pub. We had dinner the 2nd night at the restaurant which was amazing food but pricy. Our hot water kept dropping out at peak times & with 1 degree temps that was not great. Hotel was understaffed a lot of the time so the bar attendant was trying to fix our hot water problems. We felt all the businesses around the hotel were great like the ski shops & bars but the hotel was lacking in friendliness towards tourists. Even checking out we had to find the bar attendant & had some lady at the bar translate to her we were checking out.
