Rooms are nice and great views with perfect location close to slopes and main restaurants in this super charming gem of a resort. 

Such a shame that a place with great potential is let down by unprofessional staff and other important details like not being able to sleep because the floor heating which you cannot control is too hot even with the windows open, or that the place is under staffed and the main staff there completely disorganised and unprofessional 

but overheated, could not sleep even with the window open 
Breakfast is very poor

We had a nice weeks stay - its adequate & clean but not luxurious.  Breakfast is nice bread & pastries & yoghurts some times [plus a couple of cereal options that did not look appetising].  And of course juice, coffee, tea or chocolate.  Sufficient for us, but maybe not the younger guests.  No cheese or ham or eggs which would have eased the monotony.  The jams were small plastic packs of not particularly good quality.  There is NO wifi.  The proprietress does not speak much English, but the young lady helper does.  Both are very friendly & helpful.  Rooms were hot in the night even with the radiators turned off.

This small and family run hotel enjoys a long lasting tradition of hospitality. The 16 rooms are confortable and are all equiped with private shower and WC, hairdryer, flat screen TV, telephone, mirror, dressing falicilies, balcony or loggia. The sunny location, south facing with tremendous views on the mountains are well appreciated by clients. Services: bed and breakfast, private parking, garage and ski room. Location: 400 m to slopes, 50 metres to resort free shuttle service (in winter), 5 minutes'walk to resort's shops and sport centre (swimming pool, ice rink, bowling and spa. In 2017 Hotel Montagnou is annexed to hotel Les Catrems (30 metres). Reception for both hotels is located in hotel Catrems. Breakfasts / meals are served in the restaurant hotel Les Catrems.
