The kitchenette usually includes a minimum of 2 hot plates, a fridge, sink, crockery and cutlery. (Apartments do not have an oven unless otherwise stated). Please also note that tablecloths, napkins, bathroom towels, bath mats, dishcloths, mops and tea towels may not be provided. Kettles, mugs, teapots and toasters are considered as English peculiarities and therefore not always provided.

Wi-Fi Please note that Wi-Fi access is via an external supplier and is not provided by Lagrange. Clients have to log in to the advised provider’s website and make payment to them directly. In the event of a problem Lagrange declines all responsibility and invites clients to contact the supplier.

We’re truly sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. As you rightly mentioned, the Wi-Fi issue is a known concern, and we are actively working to resolve it. Our teams, along with our technical partners, are currently evaluating long-term solutions to improve the connectivity in all apartments.

Regarding the 4G key, we did not provide it to you from the start because, as you experienced, the signal in the mountains can be quite unreliable. Unfortunately, even with the booster, the performance is not always guaranteed, especially during peak hours.

That said, we do find the 2/5 rating rather severe, considering Wi-Fi was the only major issue during your stay. We always appreciate constructive feedback, and we regret that this aspect affected your overall experience so significantly.

Standard Alpine apartment situated a short walk from the resort centre. Ski in ski out if you are happy to go slightly off piste on your return. Piessey is set between Les Arcs and La Plagne with easy access to both. Great area. 
The apartments themselves are placed above the hotel/reception and are a short walk down to it and the spa facilities which we didn't find an issue. The spa area was fine with a hot sauna which is unusual! The reception itself is huge but with nothing in it apart from a fire! No Bar and no people so no atmosphere. There are a couple of good bars nearby. 
Our apartment was immediately above the entrance to the set of apartments and was therefore very noisy at night as people came in. Ski appts are usually noisy so this was not a big issue but I would definitely avoid the 2 bed in block 4 (I think). Otherwise fine.
The major issue was the there is NO WI-FI. It is sold as having high speed connectivity in each room which is untrue. They know this because after we complained the holiday company rang the reception and we got sent a booster (they clearly know there is an issue because they would not otherwise have a set of boosters!). The 4G booster made no difference. You could login at about 6am or around midnight but otherwise no connectivity. As we arrived the receptionist advised  us to lower our expectations on the Wi-Fi availability because it was, "in the mountains'. Obviously ridiculous. No probs if you don't want or need any connectivity.
After complaining to Peak retreats the holiday agent they have managed to sort out a £100 voucher for a subsequent trip. Peak retreats were attentive and helpful throughout although there has been a Wi-Fi issue for a long time ( I know the area and didn't check Trip Advisor before we left!!). 
Having skied a lot in the French Alps  L'Oree De Cimes is unexceptional/quite poor for the price point and I would definitely not return. CGH properties have a set of apartments up the hill which we have stayed in before with are better, quiet, better situated and I think the Wi-Fi worked!
CGH hotels have advised Peak Retreats that they are sorting out the issue with Wi-Fi (although it has been an issue for years I believe).

Regarding reception hours, please note that we are a residence and not a hotel. This means that our reception operates at set times rather than being open 24/7. 

Similarly, as a residence, certain services such as pool towels are not included but are available for rent at reception. This allows us to offer flexibility to our guests while keeping our rates competitive.

Concerning apartment allocation, guests do not select a specific apartment or location within the residence at the time of booking. We assign accommodations based on availability upon arrival. While we understand that preferences can vary, our team always strives to allocate the best possible option for each stay.

We appreciate your feedback regarding maintenance and will ensure that any necessary refurbishments, including carpets and spa facilities, are addressed.

Family of 4(2 adults, 2 children) 45m2 2 bed.  Heated ski room but no ski boot heaters in the lockers means wet ski boots every morning (fine of €400 if you take your boots up to overheated apartment)threadbare carpets, tiny food prep area, marks on the walls broken taps/furniture. Not exactly 4 star accommodation. ‘Reception’ open occasionally and is locked all other times so no access to main building. Block C right next to Grizzly chair lift so ski in/out however this was more luck than judgment for us as we didn’t find out allocation until arrival (Peak Retreats no help at all) No towels provided for ‘spa’, hot tub falling apart with one side not working, loads and loads of stairs! Will not be returning to this accommodation.
