We had a lovely stay at the hotel Oberland in Lauterbrunnen. 
The location is excellent, surrounded by stunning waterfalls and mountain views, and within easy walking distance of the train station and village center.
 The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, offering everything you need for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, always happy to give tips about the area. 
A great base for exploring the Lauterbrunnen Valley. 
 We would happily stay here again.

A happy place to stay in Lauterbrunnen

I spent a week over New Year's 2025 at the Oberland with my Son and Daughter and just wanted to thank Stephen and all the staff working there for an absolutely wonderful stay and for their warmth and hospitality. Jenny and Merka on front desk were simply charming and the girls in the restaurant were so helpful and kind with the kids. 

The setting is stunning and speaks for itself and the location is very convenient the train and gondola station is only 2 mins walk away!!! 

I had to pinch myself every morning when I looked out the window to see the snowy peaks of the alps soaring above the hotel. 

Our room was a very spacious family suite with two rooms kitchennette and a huge balcony with spectacular vews. I couldn't recommend hotel Oberland more highly and once again thanks so much for having us.

New Years 2025

Long Weekend trip - We left Ireland on Friday and flew to the Amazing Switzerland. When we arrived in Lauterbrunnen  we where greeted by the big smiling staff of Hotel Oberland. Such a wonderful stay, staff are friendly, location is Fantastic! Hotel is clean, comfortable welcoming. We spent the weekend sledding, so many options for different routes close by. The restaurant is good, the Fondue is out of this world! I am already planning another trip for December 2026!

Great Long Weekend full of Fun

Dublin, County Dublin

What a place! The hosts Stephen and Rubia were amazing from the minute we arrived. The rooms were cosy and extremely clean. We had dinner in the restaurant every evening, pretty much tried most of the menu and enjoyed it all. Very convenient for both the Murren ski slopes and Wengen. Nice to stay in the valley after a day on the slopes. Wellbeing back.

Swiss treat

Crew were amazing, location beautiful, rooms clean and comfy and food was great. If your going skiing or snowboarding or sledding this is a perfect hotel to go to because the transportation surrounding it.

Our friendly, family run hotel enjoys the ideal location in the centre of Lauterbrunnen, only a 5 minute walk from the train station, with epic views of the famous “Staubbach” waterfall. We have a famous restaurant with amazing views from the terrace for al-fresco dining. Our beer garden is very popular and the ideal place for good coffee, local beer or maybe an aperol spritz. We have a dynamic and professional team, and our Swiss and International staff are multi-lingual. German, French, Italian, English and Portuguese are all spoken fluently. We offer free WLAN/WIFI throughout the hotel. Lauterbrunnen itself is situated in one of the most awe-inspiring settings in the world. Ideal for summer and winter vacations with quick and easy access to Mürren, Wengen or Kleine Scheidegg. Our Restaurant in Hotel Oberland is very popular. Our Head-Chef is Herr Raymond Kohler from Canton Bern. We serve Swiss and international dishes and we are famous for the quality of our service.
