Set amongst the mighty Tatra Mountains, well-groomed pistes of all levels run down two mountainsides from a central pinnacle - Mount Chopok. Newbies learn how to ski in Maxiland while intermediates explore sweet tree-lined reds and blues. But here's the best bit. The freeride scene here is on point too. When the snow heavens open, you have no less than twelve off-piste zones to shred. Unreal!

Best time to ski in Jasna

Snow coverage is good throughout the season in Jasna, and a modern snowmaking network keeps the slopes open from December to April. For freeride devotees, powder days are most likely in January and February. While in March and April, temperatures rise, and golden bluebird days are the norm. Sunglasses? Check! Plus, keep an eye on the calendar for dates of the Freeride World Cup Qualifiers; they usually happen towards the end of the season.

Things to do in Jasna

Feeling the burn? Soothe tired legs at the resort's natural thermal baths. Or, if you fancy something more lively, make a splash at nearby Tatralandia, Central Europe's largest water park. For good old-fashioned fun in the snow, race your mates on traditional sledges - last one down buys the beers! And, speaking of apres, there's something for everyone here in Jasna. Enjoy spectacular mountain views with dinner at the Rotunda Restaurant. Warm up on the slopes with a smooth coffee at Bar Lúčky. Or get your party vibe on at the Happy End live music club. Let’s go!
