Hôtel Picheyre

Les Angles

We have been staying for 1 night during our trip through the Pyrenees. The Hotel location is hard to beat - right on the main square behind the church. Small bars, cafes, a bakery and a grocery store are just nearby. We had a room with a small private terasse which was nice. The owner was very helpful when organizing an earlier breakfast since we had to leave quite early and also provided a safe place for our bikes and a pump. You can tell that this place is run by the owner, everything is clean and taken care of. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Central and well-managed

We were meant to be spending the day and night in Andorra skiing, but could not access it due to an avalanche. We ended up in Formigueres driving back down the mountain and decided to stay the night in this hotel. It was lovely - rooms are simple but cosy, comfortable and spacious. Bathrooms clean and chalet -like. 

Bar was reasonable and cosy with a roaring fire. Breakfast delightful - an extra 9 euros but well worth it, fresh croissants, coffee, hot chocolate, toast & juices. We spent the next day in the ski resort of les angles which is 6km away
