La Colombara is a brilliant place to stay in Bardolino. The apartments are clean and well equipped. The air conditioning was much appreciated as it was very hot when we visited in August. The pool area is great - peaceful, clean and never too busy. 
It’s just a few minutes walk to a small supermarket, coffee bar and pizza takeaway then another 5 min walk to the bus stop where you can take the bus to visit other towns, Gardaland etc. 
It’s only a 10-15 min walk from La Colombara to the lake front in Bardolino. The town itself is beautiful.  
Alessandra is the kindest and most helpful host you could wish for.

Excellent accommodation

We spent a week at a ground floor apartment at La Colombara, the first few days as a couple and then as a family of four adults and a 7 month old baby.  The manager was very welcoming and helpful, the apartment was clean, spacious, well equipped (including three TVs that we did not get the chance to use and a washing machine that we did, and was very useful), had a subtle rustic character on the outside but modern inside in amazing surroundings.  (There was a print of a Van Gogh landscape painting on the living room wall which sat well with the actual view outside the back door).  In knowing that a small child would be coming, a cot had been made up and was waiting for us when we arrived.  La Colombara is made up of two short rows of apartments, incorporating the reception and optional breakfast area on the right hand side.  (Behind this was the swimming pool which was a new experience for our grand daughter and went down very well).  We did not make use of the breakfast on offer but tended to use food from the supermarket which was a few minutes down the road.  We also did the walk to the front at Bardolino (Lake Garda) in 13 minutes.  (Less time to the bus station where we picked up a bus to Verona).  We walked to and from the town all the time because of meeting family and friends in the lead up to a wedding, and found this very easy, even with a push chair.  The site made you feel that you were miles away from everything while actually being close to the centre of things.  Our 'back garden' was a picturesque field with olive trees making it a very pleasant place to relax.

We love it here! So friendly, great breakfast, extremely clean rooms, close to centre. Our kids (5 & 2)  love Vittorio & Alessandra. For the kids there were good facility's to play with. The swimmingpool was also great!
 La Colombara is more than we could wish!
