We loved staying here. The location and private deck were stellar. The hosts (Manuel and his mother) were wonderful people, and chatting with them made the experience even more enjoyable. Manuel helped us to better plan our day, and gave us good tips as to when to travel to Limone to avoid the 4:00 mountain shade that blanketed the city. Scalagero Castle was amazing, and the historical information we learned during the interactive, 5-senses display explaining the renown transfer of ships over the land was SO cool. Eat dinner at Mignon, lunch at Alpina, and you have to do Monte Baldo. It was breathtaking. Wear pants and a coat because it's freezing up there. 

One of our favorite stops along Lake Garda

We loved our stay at La Madrugada. It‘s location is a true gamechanger - 2 min to the lake, 1 min to the old town and its restaurants, 5 min to Monte Baldo lift station! The apartment was very clean and big, we had enough space for everything and it was very comfortable. I would highly recommend a stay at La Madrugada! 🤗 The staff was very kind and communicative at all times. 

The perfect place to stay in Malcesine

This place is wonderful! Antonella and her son are so welcoming and helpful, and the pride they take in their property shows! The manicured grounds are secured behind a coded gate, so you feel very safe. The secured garage is spacious and cool. Our room was modern and large, with living/eating space, bedroom, bathroom, and balcony. The kitchen has a sink, hot plate, small fridge, and essential utensils. You have everything you need for adventure! The air conditioner is strung enough to suit American tastes. Loved it, and would happily stay again!

The owner and her family were very helpful and welcoming. The apartment we had,had unbroken views over the lake, what a beautiful place to wake up and have breakfast overlooking Lake Garda.   There was a  small but well stocked supermarket 2 mins walk away. The Castle was next door, and the town with its lovely cobbled streets and wonderful shops were all very close to hand, and yet it was very peaceful. Spoilt for choice with restaurants. The small harbour was  picturesque

Amazing location. Right near castle and top of slight slope down to the lake.  Beautiful views if you’re on the first floor. Apartments have all you need. Well equipped. Nice and near spar shop and restaurants. Owners very friendly and helpful.
