We arrived to beautifull surroundings, the location is beautiful, but we found the room not cleaned properly. It was dirty on the floor, spiderwebs in corners, dusty on the tv and shelves, the glas door to the terrace was greasy and so was the mirror. I went to ask in the reception if they could send someone to just clean the floors since we only booked for one night, and the lady/owner immediately changed her attitude from being nice to rude and offended, telling me that they had spent more than an hour cleaning the room after it was left a mess from the guest before us, and that she wouldn’t do anything about it. I asked if I at least could be provided with a broom or something to clean it my self since we have a baby crawling around, and she got grumpy and said she would arrange for something. She showed up short after looking around and talking to me in Italian like I was an idiot.. I was told to leave the room for 10 min so she could fix it. She did, and just left without letting me know she was done. Terrible way of handling a gentle complaint. She should learn to temper herself, this is not the way to treat customers. 
The view and surroundings are beautiful, but we will never stay here again and will absolutely not recommend it.

Dirty and poor customer service

We stayed in a junior suite with a beautiful view of the lake. The room was new, cleaned regularly, nice bathroom and comfortable beds! 
The Breakfast was very nice, with a sweet young man making sure everyone had coffee. 
Pool was Beautiful and clean, not so big, and nicely cold. 

The restaurant makes lovely homecooked food, at an affordable price. The menucard needs an update though, its hard to understand and a little worn out ;-)

Very good parking. Approx. 10 min. Walk to the water (steep hill, your legs will thank you). 

Last but not least a very sweet and helpful staff!

Amazing view, relaxed environment and modern hotel.

I think this is the third or fourth time we've stayed at Locanda San Marco. I would not think of staying anywhere else when visiting Lake Garda. It's in a beautiful location; good parking; lots of hot water; good water pressure; shower drains; great staff; and the breakfast is fantastic. They keep bringing out more and more great items at breakfast, so pace yourself. The restaurant is outstanding. I always order the mixed grill fish plate which is wonderful. Make sure you ordered the French fries at the restaurant. They just may be the best friend fries in the world.

GREAT LOCATION

Driving to Venice and staying at different locations on the way. Here for two nights but should have stayed longer. But had a hotel booked at Venice. We stayed in room 10 which has a shared balcony with room 9. It wasn't occupied so we had it to ourselves. This overlooks the village square and church with the mountains in the background.  And you can see the lake when standing. The room is spacious with loads cupboards. A good sized shower and lots of towels. We would come here again, but for longer.
