We visited Bardonecchia to visit with friends from the area.  I am accustomed to staying in hotels, so there was a bit of uncertainty for me as to how this would work out, but Vittorio was a most excellent host, helping with literally every part of our stay from helping arrange a shuttle van from Turin airport to pointing out local points of interest.   We had an amazing first trip to Italy in no small part due to Vittorio and La Tana Del Ghiro.   Highly recommended.

One note for those who like to sleep in: The nearby church bells ring every half an hour, which woke us up most days.  We came to call this the “Bardonecchia Alarm Clock” - but truth be told, I actually appreciated it as it got us up and moving, and it was actually a fairly pleasant way to be awakened.

We decided on a last minute ski holiday and got a great deal at La Tana del Ghiro. We weren't sure what to expect but everything worked out wonderfully - from the friendly welcome from Vittorio to the large studio apartment to the idyllic central old town location. Vittorio also provided us with a discount code for ski passes and ski rentals. A free ski locker at Campo Smith (right next to the lift) was also given to us as residents of La Tana. The free ski bus stop was less than a minute from the apartment alternatively, Campo Smith was a ten minute downhill walk. A nice way to loosen up in the morning. This was by far one of the best ski experiences we've ever had and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Bardonecchia

An amazing stay at la Tana first a very nice and wellcoming by the owner very friendly and in a perfect English the apartment are very well furbished and perfectly clean a very quiet area in the heart of the city near all facilities a perfect wifi and a very quick access to the slopes

Opened in early 2006, this complex offers brand new apartments, one, two or three rooms arranged in a two-storey building located in the "old town" of Bardonecchia. The residence provides all the services that features a hotel.
