Dear Aziza,

We are sincerely sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations and that this situation affected your experience, especially on such a special day for you.

However, despite the explanations already provided at the reception, we feel it is important to clarify certain facts. On your scheduled check-out day, despite several phone calls and voicemail messages left, we had received no response at all from you by 4:00 PM. You returned to the hotel at 5:45 PM, not at 4:00 PM.

Given the circumstances, and based on many years of experience in the hospitality industry, we unfortunately had no choice but to pack your belongings into your suitcases. This decision was neither taken lightly nor malicious, and certainly not with any pleasure. As the room had to be resold regardless—especially during an extremely busy period such as the Christmas season—it was necessary to free it in order to accommodate other guests.

Our priority has always been, and will remain, guest service. This is precisely why we made every possible effort to contact you multiple times before taking this step and truly tried to avoid removing anything.  The situation arose solely due to an error in the booked dates and the absence of any response to our calls.

We would also like to clarify that at no point was anyone accused of lying. On the contrary, our team made every effort to assist you and to find solutions, always with the intention of helping and resolving the situation calmly.

We are truly sorry that our actions were perceived negatively. Please be assured that your belongings were handled with care and without any ill intent, supervised by a manager through the entire process. 

We regret that our service did not meet your expectations, despite our continued efforts to ensure our guests feel welcomed and well cared for.

You are, of course, entitled and most welcome to share your opinion. We value all feedback, whether positive or negative, as it allows us to continue improving and better serving our guests.  Once again, this is our priority. 

However, please note that a public comment reflects not only the experience itself, but also the way it is interpreted.

I want to share our terrible experience with the front desk manager, Julie, and the director, Diddo. Both were unprofessional and rude, treating us as if they were above us. Diddo even went so far as to call me a liar, despite having no right to throw my personal belongings out of the room.

As a family of four with two kids, we had booked the most expensive room in the hotel for 5 nights but mistakenly thought it was for six. After a day of skiing, we returned at 4 PM to find all our belongings packed up. We had paid for an extra night and explained the situation, noting that the room was still available with no other bookings. It was completely unnecessary to pack our things, especially since we had laptops, jewelry, and toiletries left in the room.

When we started going through our belongings, I found that all my toiletries were disorganized. It seemed there was no oversight during the packing process. They even discarded my new shampoo, which I had specifically ordered for my hair type and is not something  found in stores 

To make it worse, it was my birthday, and they showed no concern. For a room that costs 600-700 euros a night, I expected a certain level of respect. They spoke with such entitlement. Ultimately, I was called a liar, as if my shampoo wasn’t new and I was creating drama. On my birthday, I couldn’t find half of my belongings because they were packed incorrectly, which left me unable to wash or style my hair. I understand that for Diddo and his friend Julie ( that he fully backed up and said she did everything correctly ), this means nothing and it is only a shampoo . But not for me , this attitude completely destroyed the mood /holiday and my birthday . I really hope that someone will read our comment, hotel’s location is great . But this approach to clients will not lead anywhere.

Regarding the spa area, guest safety is very important to us. As in all wellness areas, floors may become slippery due to water, and appropriate signage is available and installed when necessary. We are sorry to hear about your daughter’s fall and hope she was not seriously hurt.

Concerning breakfast, we regret that the selection did not suit your family’s preferences. Our buffet is prepared daily, and while it is generally appreciated by many of our guests, we understand that tastes and expectations may vary.

Awful treatment of customers, unprofessional receptionist Julie, who acts like intern first time working in hospitality industry.

We booked the most expensive room for 6 days, paying over 700 Euros per night, and were treated as in one star hostel, with rude and unprofessional service. 

Dangerous spa, very slippery floor and not clean. My daughter fell down and we asked to install the slippery floor sign. 

Receptive breakfast without any good food, smelly beans and old omelette.  My kids could not eat anything. 

Complete mismatch between the location, online reviews and the actual level of service

Ver nice hotel in a great location. There are several shops and restaurants within walking distance. It is also very close to the gondola to Mont Blanc. Our balcony had a nice view of Mont Blanc. Our room was very small but adequate for just two of us. Breakfast was delicious with a small but good selection. The buffet includes scrambled eggs but if you want fried or poached eggs, there is an up charge. The people working the front desk were very helpful giving us directions and marking up our maps.
