We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Casa Barca. It's in a fantastic location: Easy access to the main part of Malcesine, but far enough removed that you aren't really in the thick of it. The staff are all so helpful and nice. They took care of dinner reservations for us, answered all of our questions, and even gave us some great tips about Amarone della Valpolicella wine (thanks, Michele!). We definitely recommend taking a glass of wine up to the rooftop patio, or having a dip in the hillside pool. The attached restaurant is quite good as well if you'd rather not venture into town to eat.

We have just returned from an absolutely fabulous stay at Casa Barca. The hotel is immaculate,  stylish and has the most incredible views. It is probably the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in.  All staff are so welcoming,  from front of house staff to cleaning staff. Nothing is too much trouble.  Thank you to Daniele for being so informative and helpful for anything we needed.  Thanks to Luca for looking after us in the evening serving our drinks.  And thank you to the charming Chef who cooked the most amazing crepes and omelette each morning,  sorry I didn't catch your name but thank you.  The choice on offer at breakfast was exceptional. The panoramic pool at the top of the hotel is so peaceful. There are so many sunbeds and places to relax and it never seemed too busy.  Overall,  Casa Barca is outstanding. Thank you for having us,  we will return !

Just returned from a 4 night stay here. It is a beautiful, family run hotel that is spotlessly clean. Brilliant facilities (two pools, spa area, relaxation rooms, parking) and lovely food. The breakfast (included) is phenomenal. Whether you want cereal, fruit, eggs (cooked fresh - scrambled, fried, omelette and crepe), hot food, cold meats and cheese, pastries, beautiful desserts, prosecco (!!), everything is catered for. The meals here (lunch and dinner) are equally exceptional and the staff can't do enough to help throughout your stay.
I genuinely can't criticise this hotel in any way. It is a lovely 5 minute stroll into the beautiful Malcesine which has many lovely bars and restaurants to sample along with beautiful little shops.
