Please note that in winter, the property can only be reached by cable car from Lech. The cable car to Oberlech and the hotel operates non-stop from 07:00 to 01:00. There are cable car tickets for the guest at the cable car station, which are prepared for them.

Oberlech is car-free in winter and public indoor parking is available against surcharge next to the cable car station in Lech. Your luggage will be transported from the cable car station to the hotel.

Location is simply perfect, it will NOT get any better; you are right on piste and adjacent to both Gondola access to Lech and direct Chairlift access to a truly stunning mountain range with perfectly groomed pistes...literally doorstep skiing. Atmosphere is varied and almost all profiles are catered for, from fab tunes played out at the Eis Bar to cosy and intimate Alberg Mountain Hut experiences that are quite frankly different class. Food is exceptional, whether a la Carte or the exceptional half board experience including a 5 course meal at dinner. Rooms are spacious and offer a superb alpine feel, most with great views west and on to the piste and famous natural Toboggan Run. If you are on a budget or looking for a steal, look elsewhere, but if you are after a truly luxurious yet family / homely ski holiday experience with all the trimmings  (literally), then you might find that paying that little bit extra is worth it and comparably to other high end ski resorts / regions, it is in our view, unbeatable! Staff in any business is what brings it together and Burg Hotel has in our view nurtured a great team, across the board - special mention to Anina, Christoph, Martyna, Damian, Mita, Jakov, Claudia, Herman and Sven (a quirky character)  ... there are truly too many to mention and they all bring this place together making for a truly outstanding experience. Big thanks of course to the owners the Lucians, a serious outfit, but with great alpine class !

Visited the outside bar for drinks at the end of a skiing day. The atmosphere was poor and I was charged 50% more for a 250ml glass of Gruner vs anywhere else in Lech.
