The Madrisa gondola from Klosters Dorf - Switzerland’s largest mountain adventure park - opens up plateau trails, while the Parsenn area above gives access to high-altitude Alpine ridge walks and panoramic views across the Silvretta. Meanwhile, the flat, peaceful Zugertal valley trail to the two Zuger lakes offers one of the most relaxing half-days in the region.

Getting to and around town:
Your airport transfer is included with your trip. Once there, you’ll find Klosters split between two train stations - Klosters Platz (the main village) and Klosters Dorf - both well-connected and within easy reach of the main gondola departures.
Getting to your walks and hikes:
The Rhaetian Railway offers scenic connections between Klosters Dorf, Davos, and Filisur.
Take the Gotschnabahn cable car from the Klosters Platz station, or for Madrisa, take the gondola from the valley station in Klosters Dorf.

Can I still access Klosters' lift and gondolas in the summer?
Yes, you can. Kloster's lifts and gondolas still operate throughout the summer months, provided conditions are safe and favourable, and many of the mountain huts are still operational, so you can grab a bite to eat while savouring those epic mountain views.
When do Klosters' lifts and gondolas run during summer?
Madrisa Gondola (Klosters Dorf – Saaseralp)

- Opens: 13th June 2026
- Closes: Late October 2026
Parsenn Klosters Gondola (Klosters Platz – Gotschnaboden)
- Operating times: 08:15 – 16:30
- Opens: Late June 2026

A quick "Mountain Rule of Thumb": Last ascent is usually 15–30 minutes before the official closing time, and Last descent is the very last cabin down. If you miss it, it’s a long walk back!
Can I hire a mountain guide on my Klosters walking holiday?
Yes, you can. Though these are not currently bookable via the Heidi website, you can enquire and book with the local tourist office, or visit their website. We recommend enquiring early to ensure availability.
What does the Klosters summer card give me?
The Interlaken Visitor Card (free with selected accommodations) covers unlimited travel on buses and local trains within the designated local transport zone and a 20% discount on the Schynige Platte mountain railway.
