Alta Badia

They are BEYOND rude here. We came for the Olympics. The woman at the front desk repeatedly refused to find us a taxi, saying we wouldn’t be able to walk around Cortina/if you didn’t have event tickets you would be denied entry to the entire town. Not only was she completely wrong (we went there both days and had zero issues exploring/getting around), she was extremely rude. Acting like it was impossible when it very clearly wasn’t. 

She told me I wouldn’t be able to get an uber every time I told her I was waiting for one in the lobby. She was wrong every time and continued to be so snobby. Truly made this experience unbearable. We hated dealing with her. 

My advice is to stay at the Aman Rosa Alpina instead. We had breakfast there and they had no trouble finding us rides and accommodating us, as needed.

Entitled and Rude Desk Woman

We have stayed at this hotel 4 times and it is absolutely wonderful. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, fabulous pool and extensive Spa facilities. The food is amazing including cellar dining amongst their 30,000 bottles and separate Chocolate and Cheese Rooms. However you should stay there because the Staff are the best i have ever met in any hotel, so efficient and caring and all long term employees. I will return soon!

A wonderful hotel in every way

We had a great experience at Ciasa Salares. The staff was warm, welcoming, and exceptionally helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious and well appointed. Delicious food and the restaurant service was top notch. The shuttle service was very helpful. Everything about this hotel is wonderful. Thanks for the great stay!  Highly recommend!
