We stayed in this hotel again during our visit to Zermatt, this is a great hotel, centrally located to town centre, restaurant is very good, two small pools one inside and one outside and both are private. The spar is also very good with all possible facilities. Staff again were very good, helpful and friendly. If your staying in Zermatt then check this hotel out

This was my sixth year staying at La Couronne — what can I say? Ideal location for skiing, dining and strolling. Having a ski shop in the building is an added plus ( and 30% off sales in March were an added benefit.) There’s an elevator that goes down to the river level from the ski room which makes access to the bus service easy. The rooms range in size from smaller single rooms ( for budget conscious) to spacious junior suites. I prefer the Deluxe Matterhorn view,  large and you wake up ( hopefully) to a stunning view. With the addition of the spa -with outdoor and indoor pools you can relax after skiing —I wish the outdoor pool could be warmer but I understand the temperature  is something that the village mandates.  The staff are friendly and helpful,restaurant recommendations are spot on. I have only praise for my Zermatt home away from home and look forward to returning next year.
