This was our second visit to Hotel Kristal and we couldn’t fault it. We had the best week and experienced a magical white Christmas with a family oriented atmosphere. The new wing of the hotel is magnificent, the food is absolutely outstanding and the kids playroom is a dream for the kids. It was hard at times to convince our son to leave it but at the same time it also meant that we could still enjoy a glass of wine in the evening while our son was happily racing off to the playroom to have fun with his newly made friends. We had one of the older bigger rooms with a balcony and a pullout couch for our son. The rooms are spotless and the beds incl the sofa bed were super comfy. So if you cannot quite justify the price of the newer ones, we can also highly recommend the more traditional ones. Personally, I would suggest the rooms with a view over the ski hill - it is a lovely view. The hotel has other perks like an amazing new wellness area with great sauna rooms, we enjoyed a lovely massage, and the ice skating area offers a little extra fun. There are sleds directly accessible in the ski room and with the sledding and kids skiing hill right next to the hotel, you couldn’t ask for a better location as a family. We certainly would love to come back!
