This is a lovely hotel that we will definitely return to and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
The reception staff are lovely and I especially want to mention Susan who went out of her way to help me with paperwork at a busy breakfast time. Thank you so much Susan.
Our room was warm, modern and very comfortable. I found the bed very comfortable and the bedding is perfect weight and warmth. Having a fridge, a kettle, a luggage rack, bathroom toiletries and a hairdryer were a real bonus. The bathroom is very well designed. Storage space for clothes is well designed and ideal for our 1 week stay.
From the first floor we were able to walk out of the back door to the Aravet lift in 5 minutes and to Sport2000 where we left our skis and boots in 4.5 minutes. Perfect. (The hotel does have a ski store on the first floor.)
The breakfast buffet is extensive and regularly replenished. 
Evening meals at Equilibre were very good and an easy short walk away.

Excellent week at Hotel Mont Thabor

Book this hotel last minute. Found on Booking.com. Few other hotels available that were as reasonably priced in the area for the week we had booked to go skiing. 
Three adults and two kids aged 11 and 8. 
I called the Hotel direct to ask a few questions relocation to ski lifts et cetera as had never been to the area. Both the man and woman on Reception were extremely helpful even giving me the link bus details. 
This bus runs from the airport every Saturday and Sunday. Has many stops along the ski resort route . We were lucky and got dropped off right into Aravet-right outside the hotel door!
Hotel is small. It’s clean. We got the family room 304 - 4 single beds and one very large double bed, all extremely comfortable, bright and airy with some lovely lip balms body lotions and vanity kits left in the bathroom. Bathroom had a large bath which was a bonus to use after every ski day . Rooms cleaned every day.  Breakfast was fresh and enough to fill you for a day skiing. Hams, cheeses, nice breads, yoghurt, granola, warm pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages all available.
Ski locker room available at the hotel - you receive a lock to lock your skis. It’s well situated on the first floor so you can walk out the back door and only approximately 200 meters away through an alley to the Aravet gondola.  Hotel is perfectly situated for skiing. The skiing area was fabulous one of the best I’ve been to - we got our ski passes for the week right at the gondola, slightly more expensive than other resorts but the ski area is so vast it is worth it. Hotel is also situated right by a commercial centre with two tapas bars and a pizzeria and then also the little old town is right across the road with some beautiful restaurants.
We used the spa area one day it was €7 per adult and it has a steam room and a sauna. Clean and restricted to 45 minutes but a private session for you and your family is booked. 
We used free ride rental for our skis, which is right beside the hotel . 
Would recommend this hotel and I am sure we will return again, especially for a family with young kids wanting to go to Ski !

Ski holiday stay in Serre Chevalier

Great Location, lovely hotel.

He was lovely
We can't speak any French but he was charming  and helpful and sorted our rooms gave us all the information we needed
The rooms were lovely 
The beds were so comfy and cosy didn't want to get up
We had a bath with hand held shower head...
Be careful though the hot water was boiling, and it never runs out...Awsome a longbhot bath after a day on slopes
(Restaurant was a short walk away..food was good staff were pleasant)
Some ofbour group used the spa and said it was spotlessly  clean and good
We would definitely go back to this hotel again

Great hotel

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Great location, just a few minutes walk to the gondola, parking free of charge next to the hotel, and a good selection of restaurants within 5 minutes from the hotel. Everything perfect.
Highlights within the hotel were the comfortable room, the good quality breakfast with local products and above all, Maximer the Receptionist who was allways on hand to answer any questions and give useful information and all with a great smile! 
Don`t hesitate in booking this hotel, you won`t be dissapointed.
