Excellent location just 10 minutes drive up the Oetz valley, after leaving the main road from Innsbruck.
In the town/village, where you can walk easily to the supermarket (opposite) and Cafe Heine, for excellent food and drinks. Some places were not open when we were there in late October, but there were still places to eat and drink. We had a 2-bed apartment which was very large and had all the  amenities you could want. TVs in both bedrooms and the spacious lounge/dining areas with several English channels (still quite unusual). There was a room with a free-of-charge washing machine and a wellness area, plus an outside rooftop terrace with seats for chilling-out, overlooking the mountains.
If you want to be independent this is the perfect place to stay. It is new - just a few years old - and the place is spotless. There is an underground car park too - helpful for when the snow arrives! The owners are locals and they also have some other properties in Oetz, Solden & Obergurgl.
